It is designed to replace the weak factory tie-rod and drag link, providing improved off-road resilience and tighter steering feel. This kit is essential for those facing challenging terrain who require a robust steering setup.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 1.5-inch DOM (drawn-over-mandrel) tubing, the kit delivers superior strength and resistance to off-road impacts. The components feature precision-engineered wrench flats for easy installation and adjustment, while rotational non-articulating joints minimize bump steer. The overall finish is engineered for durability, suitable for tough environments.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging, estimated at 2-3 hours, and requires the use of a 7-degree tapered ball joint reamer tool. No drilling is necessary, but professional skill or experience is recommended for proper alignment and fitment.
Warranty. This kit includes a limited warranty providing coverage for defects and workmanship for a specified period.
Application. Designed exclusively for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models with 4-inch or greater lift, requiring a stock pitman arm, Rough Country steering stabilizers, and 16-inch or larger aftermarket wheels. It is not compatible with factory wheels or right-hand drive vehicles.
