Description
Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade. The Rough Country Suspension Heavy Duty Replacement Ball Joints are engineered to replace worn factory joints that cause vibrations, steering wander, or clunking noises. They are especially suited for vehicles with lift kits, handling the additional stresses from oversized tires and rough terrain and providing reliable, long-lasting steering performance under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. These ball joints feature a high-precision Chromoly ball stud that is oil-quenched, tempered, and spiral-grooved for optimal lubrication. The housing is made from carburized alloy, featuring a durable metal-on-metal design. A polyurethane dust boot protects the assembly, and each joint is fully greaseable to extend service life.
Installation. Installation typically takes 3-4 hours and does not require drilling. The kit includes two upper and two lower front axle ball joints, facilitating straightforward replacement for experienced technicians.
Warranty. These ball joints include a one-year replacement warranty against manufacturer defects, providing peace of mind with your purchase.
Application. Designed to fit 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models, compatible with Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles and all aftermarket axle shafts.
