With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) affecting communities and families around the world this is a difficult time for us all. We at ExtremeTerrain are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers, and partners.
Go Topless Day has always been focused on the Jeep community at large, growing each year with hundreds of events, from small to large, and in many cases with an effort to help others through charitable acts of kindness. We hope to see this tradition carry on year after year, but also must act in a responsible way that considers the safety and wellbeing of our communities. It is for this reason that we have decided to POSTPONE the 2020 GoToplessDay event until further notice.
It is with great regret that we share this news, we ask for your understanding, and we hope you support our decision to ensure that the safety of all Jeepers and their communities comes first and foremost. We understand that events may continue if the host, clubs and communities decide to proceed with a planned event on May 16th, 2020. However, we are unable to support any events due to the current limitations on our business.
We have taken the preventative measures advised by the CDC, federal, state and local governments to protect our teams. Currently, most of our workforce is working from home to assist with state-mandated effort of social distancing in our businesses and communities. This has impacted our ability to fulfill GTD Host Kits and we currently cannot provide them to event host, nor do we have a clear future date that indicates when we will able to.
As the situation evolves and the CDC & state guidelines change, we will do our part to keep the community informed. It is our hope to support an event later in the year if possible. We also have every intention of keeping future annual events on the traditional date.
