      Description

Improved Steering Control. Enhance your TJ’s off-road driveability by installing the Steinjager Military Beige Crossover Steering Kit. This steering system provides you with better handling, especially on rugged trails. You can confidently conquer the various trail obstacles with superior steering control and assurance that your tie rod will not break or bend. Steinjager also designed this kit to perfectly work with or without the factory sway bar. Additionally, the drag link and tie rod come in a rugged, military beige finish that you can match with your other off-road upgrades for an appealingly distinct look.

Rugged and Durable. Built to match your TJ’s rough off-road activities, this Crossover Steering Kit consists of reinforced drag link bar and tie rod crafted from heavy-duty, 1.50-inch DOM tube with .25-inch wall thickness. This construction exhibits excellent structural rigidity and high corrosion resistance to hold up well with off-road use. The .75-inch chrome moly rod ends provide durable anchoring support for high-stress steering. Moreover, the military beige powder coating provides an extra layer of protection to resist corrosion, chipping, and abrasion.

Simple Installation With Drilling. This Crossover Steering Kit requires that the Pitman arm and spindles be drilled out to .625-inch. The drag link attaches to the Pitman arm and to the passenger spindle while the tie rod connects to the knuckles on both sides. Re-alignment is highly recommended after installation.

One-Year Warranty. Steinjager offers a 1-year limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship for this Crossover Steering Kit. Some exclusions may apply. Please see the terms and conditions for full details.

Application. The Steinjager Military Beige Crossover Steering Kit is intended for use on all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models that is lifted between 0-4 inches.

Note. It is recommended that you either have 4-inch or less backspacing and a minimum 16-inch rim. Factory 15-inch rims may rub the heim joints.
