        1 1997 Wrangler - TjBouncer

        Not compatible

I have a rough country side by side dual steering stabilizer, rough country 3.25 lift, rough country front track bar. And it would not fit because this dropped the drag link further towards the back and there is not enough room in between the drag link and front track bar for my steering stabilizer to fit on the mounting hole. Should be put in description what it's not compatible with. About as heavy duty as stock.

        5 2000 Wrangler - JimmyM

Great Product and easy to install!!

First, it came when promised! Very important. Second, it was easy to install, about two hours using simple hand tools(no air tools)and in my drive way. Only thing I would suggest is take a measurement of the gap between the old one and the bottom of the gear box before you remove the old one. That way you can be sure it is fully seated. Good luck and wrench on!

        Ruins your steering

The reviews on this product are fake, just invest in something else that actually works

        Great product

This part fits perfectly for my lifted wrangler. The part was an easy install and fixed the looseness in the steering.

        1 1997 Wrangler - kraml

        Not Required

This is NOT needed unless the lift changes the connection point of the track bar on the body. This will create a bump steer if installed.

        2 2004 Wrangler - SamL

        Drop pitman arm

Works great with the 2 1/2" rough country lift. Tie rods are right where they need to be, not at an angle and no binding.

      3 Top Rated Questions

I am wanting to do a 2.5 suspension lift in my 1992 YJ; the kits do not come with a drop pitman arm with that short of a lift, do I NEED one, and will this one do? I am concerned about the range of lift for this arm (2.5-6inches)....

      • A drop pitman arm is not required but can be installed. We recommend installing with the OEM pitman arm, and only installing a drop arm if you feel it is needed after the lift is installed at 2.5" of lift.

What size is the splined hole?

      • The Rough Country Drop Pitman Arm uses an OEM sized splined opening where the pitman arm connects to the steering box.

Is this something that I should honestly add to a 3.25" lift?

      • Yes, the Rough Country Drop Pitman Arm can be added to a 3.25" lift if you are noticing bump steer due to the angle of your drag link.
