        • These measure 9.5" collapsed and 12.5" extended.

How do I go about getting replacement bushings (lower)? The bushings that slide onto the the lower pins on mine are about to fall out because they are so shot.

        • We would recommend you contact the manufacturer for these parts.

Right now I have a RC spacer lift, I believe it’s a 2” or 2.25”. But I will be getting a RC 3.5” full suspension lift but I’m wondering if this quick disconnect system will work with my current lift as well? I’m wanting to go ahead and get quick disconnect but don’t wanna have to buy two quick disconnect systems.

        • These disconnects are only adjustable to fit 3.5 to 6 inches of lift.

Ordered the kit, when installing the bolt and tightening it, you have to install the QD pin first and then finish tightening or there will not be enough room to get the QD pin when tight. How is this? Defeats the purpose of being QD. Any guidance?

        • When installing the Rough Country Front Quick Disconnects, you will install and tighten the pins, and then install the sway bar link, and secure it with the quick disconnect pins. The first several times disconnecting and reconnecting the sway bar links may be tight as all components are new.

Where do you install the 2 half inch washers that come in the kit? This is not included in the instructions.

        • The washers for the Rough Country Front Quick Disconnects, would mount behind the front lower nuts on the sway bar links. We have a different install guide here as well: https://lib.extremeterrain.com/guides/J12365-cust.pdf for your own records.

            These do the job

These are very easy to install and seem to do the job. They aren't the easiest to connect or disconnect but overall seem to be off good quality. I wish they were powder coated in black though. The shiny part kind of sticks out and doesn't blend well.

            Great product

This is a great simple product that makes a big difference. The only downfall is unless you are disconnecting them everyday you might need a little grease or WD-40 to get the pins out. but overall great product

            Great

These work very nicely, and are fairly easy to install. You just need to make sure everything is torqued down, because I have found mine to be come loose once or twice but that stopped after I got a torque wrench. I also really enjoy how you can reattach the links to the frame when they are disconnected to get them out of the way.

            Rough country geometry kit

The kit I received was shipped to me with three upper crush sleeves and one lower crush sleeve. Needless to say I was not happy about such a mistake. However after calling Extream terrain they had a representative from ET call me and rush ship me the longer missing crush sleeve. Rough Country should have a quality control in place to prevent this from happening if they do then they should evaluate his or her capabilities. Not happy!

Howdy, these are great. Easy to install and just as easy to use on the trail. No complaints and do exactly what they're supposed to do. Recommend highly, thanks Rough Country!!!

            Can't get the pins in

The bushings are to big to get the pin in. I ended up cutting a small portion of the rubber bushing to get the pin in. And I recommend if you have a 3.5 in lift and below get the 2.5 in lift quick disconnects. Besides that they do what they're intended for.

            Perfect!

The sway bar links worked great and were super easy to install. No more worrying about zips ties breaking and screwing up my links when I'm wheeling. The only downside is the pins are really hard to pull out and put back in. This may change with time, but still not that big off a deal. Good all around product!

            QD Review

Overall they do the job, the quick pin fit is extremely tight, it is almost to tight where it takes a hammer and some elbow grease to get them in. Hopefully the more i use them the better it gets, or i may go get smaller pins to make them actually "quick" to disconnect and reconnect.

            Good, but could be better

These went on easy enough, but the lower mounting pin could be a little longer. the retaining pins barely fit with the disconnect mounted, it catches on the rubber and is very tight to put on. Maybe after a few times it will work itself out, it is definitely tightly fitted and I am not worried about it coming off while driving.

            Buyer beware

The product itself is ok, I have installed these on four Jeeps, and am impressed with the ease of install. The problem is when you have a failure of the bushing after only 8 months, and attempt to contact Rough Country to get a replacement, they not only do not have a parts list online, but good luck getting a warranty replacement, I have gotten the run around with them and they have absolutely no desire to follow through with their supposed lifetime warranty or their 100 satisfaction guarantee. Absolutely awful customer service, I will never buy another Rough Country product again.

            Flexin' so hard

These disconnects have made a huge difference in my jeep in off camber situations, also gives me piece of mind knowing when disconnected they are secure out of the way so they don't get damaged.
