Go Anywhere. Turn your 2007-2018 4-Door Unlimited Jeep Wrangler into the smoothest-riding, best-handling JK on the street or trail by installing a Rough Country 3.5-inch Suspension Lift Kit with Control Arm Drop Brackets. With 3.5-inches of lift that can accommodate up to 35 x 12.50 tires, there are no obstacles you can't tackle with this Rough Country kit. With beefier Performance N3 Series Shocks, lifted coil springs, and control arm drop brackets you will have a rig that can go almost anywhere.

Performance N3 Series Shocks. Rough Country's Performance N3 Series Shock Absorbers are engineered to meet the demands of the serious off-roader. With 10-stage variable valving, these high-pressure Nitrogen charged shocks offer a fantastic blend of off-road action and smooth highway ride quality. Featuring a durable 18mm spring-loaded piston rod, fortified seals, and a faster-cooling 54mm shock body, Rough Country’s N3 Shocks offer a premium driving experience.

Lifted Coil Springs. The front and rear coil springs included in this Rough Country 3.5-inch Suspension Lift Kit have been engineered to work perfectly in conjunction with the other components of the kit. These springs will not only aid in lifting your Wrangler for increased clearance, but they will also help to provide a smooth comfortable ride. Rough Country also includes a set of Coil Correction Plates to correct the rear coil spring angle by 10 degrees, allowing them to function more efficiently.

Control Arm Drop Brackets. This Rough Country 3.5-inch Suspension Lift Kit also features control arm drop brackets. These Brackets have been engineered to relocate your factory control arms to the optimum geometry for absolutely incredible handling and driveability you won’t find in other setups.

No Welding Required. Rough Country designed their Suspension Lift Kit to be installed with no welding needed, making it a bolt-on kit. However, it should be noted that cutting and drilling is required for installation. With all the necessary hardware included, this Lift kit can be installed in about 4 to 5 hours time.

Lifetime Replacement Warranty. Rough Country Suspension Systems offers a Lifetime Replacement Warranty on most suspension products. All products are warranted to be free from defects in material and craftsmanship for the life of the vehicle if utilized in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for installation and operation of said products. Subject to the terms and conditions, please see manufacturer's full warranty for details.

Application. This Rough Country 3.5-inch Suspension Lift Kit with Control Arm Drop Brackets is designed for use on 2007-2018 4-Door equipped Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited models. Does

    not fit 2-Door models.

Application Note. 2012-2015 models require exhaust modifications to clear the front driveshaft. For automatic transmission Wranglers: Due to the use of an oversize driveshaft from the factory and inadequate factory clearance, it may be possible for the front driveshaft to come in contact with the automatic transmission pan, tearing the factory boot and rubbing on the shaft. This generally occurs during heavy articulation when front sway bar links are disconnected and longer shocks are installed. If this is found to occur, the proper procedure would be to replace the oversize factory shaft with an aftermarket smaller diameter shaft to increase clearance between the transmission and front driveshaft. Rough Country does offer this driveshaft if needed.

            Rough Country 3.5 in. Lift

So after about shopping around for what lift I wanted to start with I finally pulled the trigger on this. I figured that as time progresses I would probably end up upgrading every component this kit will come with. So with that in mind, I wanted to start off with a basic kit just to get my Jeep up in air. This Kit is perfect! It has everything you will want, drive quality, look, and budget. The drive quality is just as good as stock, which is surprising after reading a lot of reviews from a Rough County lift. This kit will provide you will everything you need at a minimum to get your pinion angles right and the geometry correct for you have a the smoothest ride as possible, at budget. The look is definitely what I wanted. I clears my 35s no problem at all. As a matter a fact, I am now thinking about 37s when it comes time to replace my current tires. At the price range, I don’t think there’s another kit that come compare. Other kits out there may come with beefier shocks, springs, or an adjustable track bar. However, this kit will include an assortment of brackets to adjust the geometry of your suspension to give it the best ride quality. As i said, I will most likely end up replacing every component of this kit with higher quality parts and etc. So I would label this as the best starter kit out on the market as of now. The only cons I have when it comes to installation is the instructions lack in detail for someone that has no mechanical background. The pictures are black and white and the instructions lack in detail. Extreme terrain has a great installation video to bridge that gap though. Also, after the lift is installed your steering wheel will be off center. To fix that if extremely simple but i just think that the instructions or video just mention how to do so. I found a YouTube video the very next day that easily explained the process so no big deal but if your steering wheel is off centered it will provoke a lot of issues and dash lights hts to come on. Easy fix though and I would still give this product 5 stars. It took me almost 12 hours to install this lift. Although I have tons of experience wrenching. This was done in the backyard, in grass, with the minimal amount of tools. Plus to add in a couple trips to the local parts store to pick up the correct tools you’ll need. If the conditions were perfect I would say you could install this in 4 hours. From the time you pulled in to the time you pulled out.

            Exactly what I wanted!

Everything fit and lined up perfectly. The instructions were so so had to refer back to the video on Extreme Terrain for some parts. Love the look of my Jeep running 35’s.

            Lift kit

Got the item very fast. The directions that came with it were very hard to follow. If it wasn’t for a video on extreme terrain, I would not be done with it. In total it probably took 9-10 hours on a hoist.

            Happy

The install was easy enough. The install instructions were sub par. They should contact LEGO and get some advice on instructions. Parts are well made. Any serious off-roading I’d consider spending more for a different brand, but for mild use this will do just fine. The ride is a little soft for my taste.

            Great lift for the $$

Jeep looks great and rides a bit better than stock. Install was a breeze, about 2.5 hours.(on a lift and I'm a mechanic) would be longer on the ground in a driveway. Came with almost everything, I opted to add extended brake hoses.

            Overall good kit

Installed the kit in a weekend with my son. Overall really great kit. directions were clear and everything bolted up as it is suppose to. Gave it 3 starts because of the drop pitman arm. After installing the kit and getting an alignment. had terrible bump steer and steering wheel drift while driving. Also would intermittently flask the ABS warning light on the dash, cause other drivability issues. Reinstalled the factor pitman arm and a Yeti top mount no drill drag link and all my issues were gone. Love the lift and the look now, rides and drives great on and off the road.

            Fantastic! Smooth ride!

We ordered and installed the 3.5 in lift and it was pretty easy in my opinion and we have never installed one before. My jeep is a 2015 4 door and it went up 4 inches with the lift alone and another inch after adding new 35 inch tires....I'm very happy with the way my jeep handles and drives and would do it all over again.

            Great lift for the price

I purchased this based on the price and reviews from other sites. I saw many reviews of it being cheap and stay away as well as get the lift its great for the price. I am with those folks that this is a Great Lift for the price. I could tell and immediate difference in the drive quality after installation. Road driving is smooth and takes road wear very well. I have not taken it off road much yet but the small amount i have I was pleased. I would definitely recommend.

            Best lift for your budget

This is the best lift you can find for your money. The instructions are a little hit or miss but the kit comes with everything you need. I installed this with one friend in just a couple of hours. The hardest part was getting off the factory pitman arm. Everything else was very simply and doesn't require any welding.
