Does this kit level the jeep too or is it still a bit lower in the front?

        • The Rough Country 2.5 in. Suspension Lift will allow the Jeep to sit level as well as provide a lift. If you have heavy aftermarket bumpers and a winch that may cause a small rake or uneven-ness though with this kit.

Will I need to buy aftermarket front sway bar disconnects or will the stock non disconnect ones work with this?

        • The Rough Country 2.5 in. Suspension Lift can be used with the OEM sway bar links, however we do recommend an extended link to reduce wear sway bar end link, or extended disconnect links to allow full suspension articulation off road.

            Rough country 2.5 lift

Nice heavy duty looking springs, put these on with new shocks in about 4 hours. Rides just as good as stock. Says 2.5 in but looks higher. I didn’t measure before.

            Great Value, Good Fit

At first, it appeared more of a project than I would be able to handle, but after I finished, I'm glad I did it myself. It was not easy, but it didn't require a lot of specialized tools. I did purchase a set of spring compressors to make slipping the new springs in place easier.

            Good lift

Good lift especially for the price. Easy to install took about 3 hours. I would definitely recommend it

            Great kit

Kit went on with no issues. You will need longer sway bar connecters for the rear.

            Love it!

I received the kit in a timely manner like 3 or 4 days. I installed on a Saturday morning in about 3.5 hrs very straight forward installation and the look, stance and smoother ride is great, I've received alot of compliments on my Jeep.

Rides and looks like a Jeep should

The RC 2.5" coil lift with shock extensions (using factory shocks, will upgrade later) is a good bargain for the entry level enthusiast (5 Stars). I got the lift kit, front sway bar quick-disconnects, and 1.5" aluminum wheel spacers/adapters, because RC recommended them with this kit. Turns out I really didn't need them, but they do give the Jeep a tougher appearance/stance in combination with the lift kit (4Stars). Just make sure you use the red Loc-tite they include with them and torque everything properly. I worked alone, except for having a buddy push the axles down to get the springs in/out. Taking my time to be sure everything was right, installation for all components listed took about 6 hours. I didn't think that was too bad since I was using a jack and stands. The front was harder than the rear. None of it was really hard, the instructions were adequate. After install I had the vehicle aligned, per RC recommendation. I don't think I really needed it, because it drove exactly as it did before, but at least I know it's right and in spec. With the new lift installed, the ride (4 Stars) seemed actually a little softer than the stock springs. I like it. The steering effort seemed to increase a tiny bit due due to the wider track caused by the wheel spacers/adapters, during slow speed turning, but maybe that's just me... Off road you tell things will be different on the trails. Not so much scuffing and scraping going on underneath (4 Stars), but you have to keep your head about it, after all it's only 2.5". All things considered, the RC 2.5" lift kit with shock extensions is a solid value, easy install for the DIYer, and gives the look and ride that feels like a Jeep should.

            Not bad

I really like this lift. It is helpful for off-roading. I was too scared to do a suspension lift on my own so I took it to get done. They had it finished in no time. I would recommend this to anyone not trying to spend too much money but still looking for a little more clearance.
