- How to Install Tuffy Locking Cubby Cover on your Jeep Wrangler
Features, Description, Reviews, Q&A, Specs & Installation
Design. The Tuffy JK Locking Cubby Cover uses the power of steel to turn that underfloor cubby into a locking storage compartment. The 16-gauge steel lid provides a sturdier load floor, while the .125-inch steel Pry-Guard latch system and 10-tumbler, weather-proof Anti-Twist lock will keep thieves from getting to your gear. Adding to the strength of this locking cubby cover is a continuous welded steel hinge, a .125-inch steel mounting plate, .125-inch steel brackets, and Grade-8 hardware. Plus, the baked-on, powder-coat finish will endure years of use/abuse.
Application. This Tuffy Locking Cubby Cover fits 2007-2018 Wrangler JKs.
Fitment: 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 Details

Perfect!! Even if you do not want to lock it when you close your tail gate it secures it shut! So great for when the top is completely off but you still want some security!Helpful (0)

Well made item / Poor instructions
I was looking for additional secure storage for my 2013 Wrangler so I decided to try the Tuffy Locking Cover. The product is well made and secure, however, the directions are poor! I highly recommend that prior to installing the cover, everyone should watch the product / installation video that Extreme Terrain produced. Additionally, there are a few videos that I watched on YouTube that helped a lot. In summary, good product with instructions that were drawn by a six year old!Helpful (4)

Should’ve Came With It!
Great product! Appears Jeep must have a contract with this company because the floor has predrilled holes for this product. Unfortunately, Jeep makes you buy the lockable cover and does not include it with your $50k Rubicon. Only complaint of the design, is the edges are not rolled down to match the lines of the floor. You can literally use this grab point and pry open the steel cover. But, at least it’s better than nothing in securing your valuables and firearms.Helpful (4)

Solid Stuff. One Missing Wish.
This is well built. The one thing I wish they could figure out would be how to be able to retain the plastic interior piece without modification (or include a punch-out for a small modification) since the tray that holds the door and hardtop hardware is a nice thing to have.Helpful (6)

Yes, the Tuffy Locking Cubby Cover (07-17 Wrangler JK) is designed to work with the 2-door JK, as well as the 4 door JK.
Is this compatible with a 3rd row seat install w/Teraflex brackets?
The Tuffy Locking Cubby Cover is not compatible with the Tereflex 3rd Row Seat Brackets.
can this product be key matched with other Tuffy locking components like the glovebox and hood lock? so 1 key can unlock all products?
At this time we do not offer a service where the Tuffy Locking Cubby Cover and other Tuffy products can be keyed the same.
Is this able to be installed if there is no carpeting in the jeep (2017 Jeep Wrangler Willy) or will I need to engineer a method of ensuring fit and seal with weather stripping?
Hello, it is possible to install but you'll probably have to use some type of weatherstripping just so it seals better.
