Steel Construction. The Rubicon Express Manual Transmission Skid Plate is built from precision CNC laser-cut 3/16-inch steel for a construction that will last for years and years. The black powdercoated finish adds a sleek look to the plate and also provides maximum corrosion resistance. The Rubicon Express skid plate offers maximize ground clearance by mounting the product tightly to the drivetrain. This product is intended to fit on both 2- and 4-door models.
Offroad Quality. Apart from just protecting your Jeep's entire undercarriage, this skid plate proves its prowess off the road. You will experience fewer obstacle hangups and better slide over all terrain, as this plate is engineered to withstand even the toughest and harshest road conditions.
Moderate Install. This product requires some level of mechanical skill to install, as it is categorized as having intermediate-level difficulty. The Rubicon Express skid plate uses all your Wrangler's existing hardware and fasteners. No cutting or modifications will be necessary. Total install time is estimated to take 2 hours.
