Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 5052 aluminum known for excellent formability and strength, the skids feature countersunk bolt holes to minimize snagging. An optional 3/8-inch UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polymer coating enhances abrasion resistance and impact absorption, while providing a low-friction surface that aids in sliding over obstacles.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the provided hardware and instructions; no permanent modifications such as drilling or welding are required. Some minor adjustments may be necessary to accommodate aftermarket exhaust or suspension components.
