If I buy this 2.5in lift kit for my 07 wrangler unlimited, do I need any additional components? Or just this kit itself?

        • On 2012-2018 JKs, an exhaust spacer kit would be required. As your JK is from 2007, you would not need this part. With 35" tires, rubbing could occur with extreme articulation. If you're planning on running 35" tires on factory wheels, double check the clearance between the front tire, lower control arm, and sway-bar links.

If I run 22in wheels and 35in tires, will this be allow them to clear?

        • We have not confirmed fitment of a 22" wheel on a wrangler at this time. I would imagine the 2.5" lift would not be enough and you will rub.

Hello, I have a 2017 unlimited, looking to put 305/70/17 tires on black rhino warlord wheels. I have added a heavy front and rear bumper, and heavy rack on top. Will this lift work for me? Any special considerations for the bumper, rack and wheel mods?

        • This lift will allow clearance for your setup, but a taller lift will allow for full articulation of your suspension.

Is the front spacer on this kit larger to remove factory rake and level the Jeep?

        • Yes, this kit will provide a level lift.

For my stock jeep, can I buy this kit and nothing else and have it installed in a shop? or do i need any additional parts like the recommended exhaust extension? Thanks.

        • For any 12+ model will require an exhaust extension kit. Besides this it will be everything needed to have this installed at a shop.

            Perfect for 35’s

I wasn’t sure if these would give enough lift but they are perfect for 35’s. Ride is pretty similar to stock until I hit about 75 and ride quality drops a bit, but not enough to matter. Had shop install for $150.

            Great lift and easy installation.

Lift took almost 3 hours to install with 2 people. I would recommend several jack stands and 2 jacks. Watch the videos, easy and straightforward.

            Perfect for what I needed

The Rough Country 2.5 lift without shocks worked perfectly for BFG- LT285/70/17 with 17x9 Ultra Hunter rims. It gave my Jeep the look and clearance I wanted without sacrificing the ride quality for my daily driving. Highly recommend.

Sets at a great height. Didn’t take away from the ride or make it any worse. After all it is a Jeep.

            Great Buy!

Gave the extra lift for bigger tires and didn't break the bank. 4-6 hour installation with 2 people. Installation fairly easy, just make sure you have a spring compressor (auto parts stores will loan) Looks great, rides great!

            Good base line

This kit is a great starting point to build your lift kit with. Purchased with other individual supporting pieces necessary for a lift this was a great way to keep my budget in check until I’m ready to upgrade to longer shocks and actual lift springs

            Easy Lift

I rated this four starts for two reasons. The bolts in the kit for the front shock extenders were too big (1/2" vs. 7/16"). A trip to the hardware store solved this problem. The relocation plates for the brake line were unusable without damaging the brake lines. Took the Jeep on an intermediate level trail ride the day after installing the lift, and it worked without a problem. The trail included two sharp breakovers and a few deep mud stretches. Never center hung. Very happy with the final result.

Installation was very easy, didn’t run into any problems following the video helped make it easy only problem with video is it didn’t show how to loosen up the front break lines. I’ve had it on for over 2 weeks now and don’t have any complaints.

            2.5 inch spacer lift

Really great lift. Good quality and moderately easy to install. I watched youtube videos first. The front brake line will need to be bent downward and abs line will need to be disconnected from the metal shock protector to allow the line to be moved down for the supplied adjustor. I also took a picture of the sway bars so I could reattach in the same exact position. I would definitely recommend having a friend help.
