Description
Premium Steering Upgrade. The Apex Chassis 1-Ton Steering Kit without Flip Kit for 0 to 3.50-Inch Lift; Steel is a complete heavy-duty steering system designed to replace factory components on Jeep Wrangler JK models. This kit enhances steering strength and durability, ideal for vehicles with lifts of up to 3.5 inches, providing improved control on and off-road.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features tie rods and drag links made from heavy-walled DOM SAE 1020 steel tubing with CNC-machined forged steel ends crafted from SAE 4140 chromoly. All components receive a durable black e-coating finish for corrosion resistance, complemented by CR rubber accordion boots for lasting flexibility and protection against environmental factors.
Installation. Installation comes with detailed instructions. The flip kit option requires drilling a straight 7/8” hole through the knuckle drag link mount. Basic mechanical skills and tools are sufficient to complete the process.
Warranty. This steering kit includes a lifetime warranty covering manufacturer defects and premature wear under normal use when purchased through authorized dealers.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit Jeep Wrangler JK models from 2007 through 2018. Compatibility is intended for stock Dana 30/44 axles and lifts up to 3.5 inches. Steering stabilizer relocation may be required depending on the vehicle setup. Not suitable for rock crawling applications without upgrading to aluminum components.
