      Easy and sturdy

Was very easy to install but for some reason I am missing a bracket or something else right on the slot next to the transfer case skid plate, attached picture

So these thing is sturdy. The instructions were not very helpful at all. The skid plate adds strength to the Jeep structure and ends up causing more vibration throughout the entire frame. Going wheeling soon So if there’s any strength issues I’ll bring it up for sure

      Installation directions not so good

DIY install was challenging due to the written directions not being clear and not enough pictures to show the order and where all the pieces went. Overall the fit was tight and looks good. There were not any YouTube videos that gave enough information either.

      Effective without excessive weight.

Most of my off roading is in muddy conditions but rock and branches are always a concern. The skid plate offers protection while the holes allow hosing out mud better than some full coverage designs and also reduces the overall weight. The trade off is this plate may not slide over rock as well as some units. It installed without any problems. Just install the bolts loosely while aligning everything before final tightening.

      Great skid plate!!!

Was looking at several options that were solid sheets of steel but those are not always great because you end up not being able to remove all debris and over time would cause more corrosion unseen. Found this option and after helping others with their skids I can say this is a much better fit. Great product

      Some issues

Not a bad product but would go with something else if I had another choice. Fitment of the arms Makes it difficult to install. The way the arms sit one good hit to the skid plate could cause major issues to items under the jeep.

      Love it

Had to replace my existing skids and learned from the past. My old skids were solid. If you Offroad and deal with mud and rocks... solid is not the way to go. Even using a pressure washer numerous times after wheeling did not release all that was there. With these skids, that is not an issue. Held up on hard blues with just some scrapes.

      Easy to install and sturdy

The engine skid is affordable and is pretty strong. The holes in the skid help it to drain easily. It is a pretty easy install and makes me feel much safer on the trail. I would recommend this to a friend.

There is a reason this is so cheap compared to the others, the mounting tabs a flimsy, the attaching hardware is weak, the arms to install from the motor mount bracket hit the transmission lines and push them into the side of the engine. The instructions show it being mounted on an automatic Jeep, but the arms don't fit without contacting vital parts. This thing would fold as soon as it contacted a rock. Very unfortunate purchase.

      Great Quality and Price

This is a very inexpensive skid plate for your oil pan and transmission. The parts are very heavy duty and finished in flat powder coat finish. I really like the hole pattern because it provides some air flow and prevents leaves from accumulating in the skid plate, which could be a fire hazard. I did have some contact issues on the front passenger side mount, the engine mount bracket was hitting the transmission line. Overall, the quality and price are great, but fitment could be an issue.
