How to Install Omix-ADA 3-Point Tri-Lock Off Road Seat Belt - Passenger Side (97-02 Wrangler TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler

Note: The new seat belt latch receiver sits higher than the factory seat belt latch receiver. I have included pictures. 

1. Old factory seat belts from 1997. Sun damage and wear. 

2. Remove the passenger side seat. 3 - 1/2" 1 - T50

3. At the lowest part of the roll bar located just to the outside of where the seat is located. Remove the T50 star bolt. 

4. The seat belt assembly will have to be slightly pull up to remove the latch style. 

5. Remove the T50 tamper proof star bolt from the upper seat belt. Located on the roll bar.

6. Remove the plastic cover from the new Omix-ADA 3-Point Tri-Lock Off Road Seat Belt upper mounting point. 

7. Reusing the factory T50 tamper proof star bolt install the upper mounting assembly. 

8. After installing the factory bolt, reinstall the new plastic cover.

9. Using the factory T50 bolt locate the lower mounting point. 

10. Close the plastic flap, protecting the lower seat belt mechanism. 

11. First portion complete. 

12. Remove the T45 star bolt from the lower seat assembly. 

13. Using a 5/8 wrench and 5/8 socket tighten the provided hardware onto the new lower seat belt latch receiver mounting arm. 

14. Locate the new lower seat belt latch receiver onto the lower seat assembly with the factory T45 star bolt. 

15. Reinstall the seat. 3 - 1/2" 1 - T50

16. The new lower seat belt latch receiver height comparted to factory. 

17. Installation complete.
