When installing, would the 4" RC lift kit be the same process as the 3.25" RC lift kit? I saw and watched the 4" RC lift kit installation video and I couldn't find a 3.25" RC lift kit installation video.

        • Hello, and thanks for your question. The installationprocess would be the same for both lift kits.

            looks and rides great

Very pleased with the lift. Looks great and higher than I expected (I put on 33s BFG mud terrains). All parts were there and it went on as expected. Took me and a buddy about 10 hours to complete the install. Instructions could be more clear in places but you can figure it out.

            Great Product Great Price

I ordered this lift because of the price and customer reviews. It did not disappoint! From the online chatting with customer service rep making sure all my questions were answered, to the fast and free shipping, Extreme Terrain has earned my business! Install took longer than I had expected but that was due to my rusty bolts. Once installed it has a much more aggressive stance and rides like your daddy's Cadillac...alright maybe not a Cadillac, it is a Jeep afterall, but the ride is much better than the original 18 year old OEM shocks that were on it. Very Satisifed overall and would highly recommend.

            Ride is improved!

Install took a while longer than anticipated. Ran into some rust and stuck components. Took me about 12 hours including the couple hours of drilling out rusty bolts. First time ive ever installed anything like this. Feels great on the roads and will be out 4x4 this weekend.

            Good but some issues

I like the lift every came with it that was needed. I had to issues with was 1. The package was destroyed upon delivery and 2. The instructions left out the fact you have to use the stock isolators as well as the spacers. So I had to go back in and reinstall them after the first install. But all in all I enjoy the look and feel of the new suspension

            3.25 lift

Only driven a few miles so far and seams to handle the trail well. I would have liked to have all new hardware for the install instead of replacing or reusing bolts.

            Great Lift

Great lift, does what it's supposed to. If you are familiar with removing/installing suspension components, expect it to take 6 hours if you do it by yourself. Do as follows to save some time: buy a $30 spring compressor at Harbor Freight. You cannot install the front springs without it unless you disconnect the control arms and its faster to just compress the springs. Second, if your bump stops have disintegrated, buy your new ones before you start the project. Finally, the instructions call for reusing certain factory bolts on the swaybar links. However these will not work with the new swaybar links' bushings (factory bolts are too thick) so pick yourself up a couple extras ahead of time. Final note, the instructions do not specify whether the poly isolators are intended to replace the factory isolators or supplement the isolators. I called the manufacturer and they instructed me to use them in addition to the factory isolators. Ok one more final note...the rear swaybar bracket needs to be installed when the rear axle is fully lowered. I found this out the hard way as I always do!

            Good Lift for the price

Easy install if you have the tools and work to get the rust off the bolts a few days ahead (PB Blaster works wonders). I'd say the hardest part was taking out the stock parts. It made a fun weekend with my dad and kept me busy over spring break. Only problem I have is that the front right shock squeaks a bit, still haven't figured out why, I've checked and re-checked all the bolts on it several times. But overall it's a good product for the money spent.

            Great product

Other than dealing with some badly rusted bolts, it was an overall easy install was exactly what I was looking for clearance wise. Still has a smooth ride on road and is strong off road.
