      Description

      Heavy-Duty Protection. The Next Venture Motorsports Belly Skid Plates with Optional Rear Exhaust and DEF Skid Plates; Bare Aluminum offer comprehensive underbody protection for critical drivetrain components of the Jeep Wrangler JL 3.0L EcoDiesel. Designed for off-road enthusiasts, these skid plates shield the engine, transmission, transfer case, DEF tank, and fuel tank while ensuring easier maintenance access through a removable panel.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 1/4 inch thick 5052 aluminum, known for its excellent strength and formability, the skid plates feature a precise laser-cut and CNC-formed design. The plates are hand-welded and shipped in bare metal form, delivering a rugged and durable finish ideal for demanding trail conditions. Optional UHMW panels add abrasion resistance and a slippery surface to prevent hang-ups on obstacles.

      Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and requires removal of the factory fuel tank skid and draining the fuel tank to about 1/8 tank. No drilling is needed, but some minor hand fitting and using temporary straps for support during installation is recommended.

      Application. These skid plates are specifically designed to fit the 2020-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with the 3.0L EcoDiesel engine. Minor modifications may be necessary for vehicles with aftermarket suspension setups such as Rock Krawler, EVO, or Teraflex long arms.
