      Nice for the price

Was exactly what I expected for the price. Perfect replacement for the Factory Tie Rod. This will not survive like the expensive units, but my original lasted 100K, so if this one survives half that I am a happy man!

      Good

You get what you pay for it's not the best but if your on a budget like I am this will work fine to get the job done. I wish it did not have U bolts for the shock stabilizer so I wouldn't rub on your stabilizer. Other then than easy replacement.

      Happy with quality..disappointed with packaging.

Delivery time 5 stars Quality 5 stars Packaging 2 stars The right tie rod was shipped taped parallel to the longer tie rod I suspect to reduce the overall length. Unfortunately the end of the longer tie rod penetrated thru the plastic shipping shield and the rubber boot around the tie rod end. Would have returned but had to get our Jeep back on the road.

      Great Replacement

This is a great replacement for the stock tie rod at a fair price. 2 things worth noting: (1) the nuts on the stock tie rod are 21mm and these are 22mm (not a big deal, but a heads up) (2) the steering stabilizer bolt is based on the latest JK tie rod. I have a 2009 and it looked different than mine and I had to check on-line how to align the stabilizer bracket. All in all - simple replacement that should take almost no time with some basic tools. Recommended.

      Good product

Went on good and like it was supposed to. Also the stearing strut is turned inside with less hanging down to get caught on those pesky rocks while wheeling.

      Just like OEM

This is an OEM replacement. The lock nuts are included which is nice. The ball joint separator from Amazon made removal a breeze but setting the toe was an interesting task. When this tie rod goes, I’ll probably move to a greaseable HD one but this one made more financial sense at the time. Also, be sure to remove the black plastic covers that shield the ball joint boots before install...

So Much Easier To Install Than Replacing Ends

Good quality and excellent price. Removing and replacing the worn tie rod ends can be very labor intensive, especially if they are rusted, like mine were. Swapping out the whole tie rod is much easier. Really firmed up my steering and I'm 100 satisfied with both the quality of the tie rod and the price.

Must Have Gotten A Bad one

Worked great at first, but after 2 months the joints flop to the front where they have play to them. Joints are tight when in the flat position unfortunately they are so loose front to back that they wont stay there. Going heavy duty this time around.

      Great replacement

This tie rod seemed to be a very close stock replacement. My 15" wheels on my JK will not allow for a rod end larger than stock so I can't go with one of the heavier duty options out there. My stock tie rod lasted me 11 years and 145k miles and this one looks to be just as good so I suspect it will last a long time too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
