      Decent

It is what I expected, a good replacement for the stock tie rod. However, I don't think it is greasable as one the QandA suggests. Overall very decent.

      Already replaced it

Bought this to replace the factory tie rod due to the ends having worn out. Installed this Crown replacement tie rod. It was an easy install. Had the front end aligned then went off-road. A couple hours later I had a bent tie rod. I didnt do anything that I hadn’t done with the OEM tie rod. Fortunately I was able to adjust the wheel toe-in and drive home. So I wasted the $100 for the tie rod and the cost of the alignment. Since then I’ve replaced it with a solid aluminum tie rod with 1-ton ends.

Great Replacement For OEM at Great Price

I couldn't tell the difference between the old one and the new one. Price was much better than going with the Mopar replacement. Installation was easy. I recommend going to an auto parts store and renting/borrowing a tie rod puller. It'll make the whole job much easier than trying to loosen by hitting with a hammer. I've had this now on my JKU for about 3-4 weeks and by steering feels brand new. I also replaced the drag link at the same time.

      Great factory replacement

If you are just looking to replace your factory tie rod assembly this is what you want. This was exactly the same as my factory unit in strength and build quality. Old unit out, new unit in. Simple.

      Value tie-rod, nothing special.

OE style tie rod, everything you need, nothing you don't. Get some anti-seize for less future headaches. NON-GREASABLE. Pros: OE style, does the job Super affordable Easy install Cons: Cheap construction Rusts easily, started rusting about 2 weeks in with moderate off-road use. Bolts and nuts easily threaded.

      Just what I needed

Was experiencing lots of wobble in the string of my '07 XJ. Replacing the tie rod did just the trick; no more wobble! This was delivered quickly and was a quick install. Great, simple fix especially at this price point.

Crown Automotive Replacement Tie Rod Kit

Steering was feeling a little loose after installing a 3.5 inch lift w 35 inch tires. Installed this tie rod kit and I instantly felt the difference. Steering now feels smooth and tight. It's not heavy duty but for now it will have to do. The last one lasted 115k miles.

      works great

Good OEM replacement. Doesn't have zerks for greasing, but neither did the OEM parts.

      Exact fit

This tie rod kit is an easy and exact fit for my Wrangler. Quality is comparable to OEM. I do wish the tie rod ends had zerk fittings but if they last as long as the OEM did I’m happy. Obviously make sure to get an alignment done after installation. Overall I’m pleased with the investment.

      Easy Do It Yourself

This product looks identical to the factory tie rod and ends. A local Mei__ke Car Care Center quoted me $1800 to replace this. I bought it for around $100 on Extreme Terrain and had it three days later. Easy installation and back on the road.
