Description
Better Engine Performance. Enjoy better engine performance by upgrading your stock parts to a BBK 78mm Throttle Body. This throttle body is designed to increase airflow for better throttle response compared to your existing Wrangler factory part. This is the ideal performance upgrade for both stock and modified Wrangle JK owners who want an increase in horsepower, torque and throttle response.
Premium Build. This 78mm Throttle Body is crafted from high-quality 356 aluminum castings that have been CNC-machined. This BBK throttle body also features a die-stamped throttle linkage, O-ringed throttle shafts, and double sealed bearings. New injection molded plastic ear assemblies are included for the “drive by wire” electronic control.
Plug-and-Play Installation. The BBK throttle body features a straightforward direct, bolt-on installation and comes with pre-installed electronics for a no-hassle upgrade. It works with OEM air intakes and aftermarket cold air intakes to ensure perfect fit and excellent performance. Installation can be completed in under an hour with simple hand tools.
No Tune Required. These Power Plus Series Throttle Bodies are designed to work with a factory tune in most cases. Depending on ECM sensitivity on your model and other modifications, a tune is sometimes recommended. While it's not normally required, a tune will not only allow the vehicle to work with certain aftermarket add ons but will also improve overall performance of your entire array of upgrades to work together as a whole and can normally update such items as the factory torque limit functions.
