        5 Top Rated Questions

After triming sheet metal, will these work on a yj to give more clearance than a yj tube flare?

        • These are designed to be used on the TJ and have not verified operation on the YJ.

Do these flares cover the same area as the stock flares or are they smaller? Not tire wise but on the Jeep body itself.

        • These will bolt up in the same location as the stock flares.

Will These Fit a 2004 LJ

        • The Barricade Rear Fenders (97-06 Wrangler TJ) fit all TJ models including the Sport, Rubicon and Unlimited (LJ).

Do these require sheet metal trimming or do they fit stock wheel well opening? Or should I use the TJ version on my YJ? Need to open up the wheel well. Thanks.

        • The Barricade Rear Fender w/ 3 in. Flare would require some trimming of the stock fender. You could make the TJ version work, however it would require some more trimming to factory fender well.

what do you do for a front turn signal with this style fender my vehicle is 06 TJ thanks andy

        • For the front Barricade tube fenders, aftermarket turn signal lights are required if you state requires them. We do not have any turn signal lights that will work, but a 7/8 inch led light would work.

            Nice flares

Item arrived on time and was exactly what I expected based on the reviews. Extremely easy to install with the included hardware which arrived with two damaged bolts. They shipped out a whole new set of hardware immediately. Already getting compliments.

4 2006 Wrangler - MikeBrown Installation Time: Weekend

Look great and rugged but the rust...

I've had these (and the fronts Item Item J100295) on for almost a year. They are great! Strong offroad, looks great and the finish looks awesome! But now a year later (after a Michigan winter with salty roads) rust is showing through on almost every seam. Not the biggest deal but didn't want to have to re-paint them so soon. Installed the front and back in less then a weekend by myself.

            Really good product

I love the look these give my jeep from what I used to have. They are very durable and can withstand branches smacking them on the trail. Would definitely recommend.

            Fender flares

If it werent for the rusty bolts this wouldve been a very simple and quick install. Had to cut the old plastic fenders off and then cut the bolts. Then had to drill a very slightly larger hole in each of the 6 holes to mount(prob didnt need to but it was easier in the long run) fenders matched up and and look great!

            Heavy Duty

I bought the full kit of this product and I'm very happy with the result. After all of the years of fabricating my own items for my jeeps it was nice to buy something that bolted on and was built to last.

            Horrible Finish

Had these installed for maybe about a year, already completely rusted, powdercoating peeling off, chunks of rust. Strongly consider paying more money for a better quality product instead of buying twice.

            Perfect fit

Yes I had to make the existing holes in my fender bigger but th fit was perfect. Was much easier with my wife helping. Overall I’m very happy with fit, finish and install of these fenders. Would have liked to see a 6 inch version. And you might as well add a bottle opener to the driver side fender for those outdoor excursions and such.

            Not what I thought

These are heavy duty fenders, but not right for an every day driver in PA, since it doesn't cover the tire tread.

Only negative is the thin powder coat; but for the money it was expected.
