Description
Get Some Rotation. A worn or damaged rear axle shaft isn’t a problem that you can ignore for long. Eventually, you’re going to press your accelerator pedal only to find that the wheel the shaft connects to isn’t turning. Before that can happen, replace your damaged axle shaft with Yukon’s Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft. Designed for the Dana 44 axle on the driver’s rear side, this shaft is 29.25 Inches long and has 30 inboard splines. The dual wheel stud patterns, coming in at 5 x 4.5 Inches and 5 x 5.5 Inches, also offer some installation flexibility.
Made for Top Performance. The 1541H alloy steel used to make this part is both tough and resistant to the corrosive effects of the elements. It’s more than capable of withstanding the constant rotation of your rear wheel for years to come and provides more strength than your stock axle shaft.
Bolt-On Installation. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft installs directly using the same hardware as your stock part. However, installation is not a simple task as it requires specialist equipment to provide access to your rear axle. Consult an experienced technician if you do not have the necessary expertise or equipment.
