      Description

      Design. Tuffy Security's Underseat Full Length Locking Drawer is fabricated out of sturdy 16 gauge steel, with a black powder coat for corrosion resistance. Exterior dimensions are 29.125 inches long by 34.5 inches wide by 4.125 inches high, while interior measurements are 28.125 inches long by 29.875 inches wide by 3 inches high, giving 2,530 cubic inches of storage space. The drawer weighs 69 pounds. This tough, secure storage unit fits under the rear seat of the 1976-2006 Jeep CJ7, Wrangler YJ and TJ Models.

      Storage Benefits. The Underseat Full Length Locking Drawer fits under the back seat of CJ7, YJ and TJ Wranglers, extending all the way to the rear tailgate. The rear seat can still fold and tumble once the drawer is in place and rear storage boxes can still be mounted behind the seat. The drawer can be locked for security or simply latched closed, as the ¼ inch latch prevents the drawer from rolling open. There is ample room inside for many small items – papers, first aid supplies, flashlights, batteries, and so forth.

      Installation. For installation, the rear seat is removed, the locking drawer is bolted down to the floor (with drilling necessary for the YJ only), and the rear seat is then mounted atop it, raising the seat 3 to 3.875 inches. A separate mounting kit is needed to complete the installation.

      Required Upgrade.       Please note that the required mounting brackets are not included and are sold separately. For 2003-2006 TJ models use part number 078-01. For 1997-2002 TJ models use part number 038-01. For 1987-1995 YJ models use part number 045-01.

      Application. Tuffy Security's full length underseat drawer fits 1976-2006 Jeep CJ7, Wrangler YJ and TJ Models. The finish is black for a professional look.
