Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of Wheels and Tires you will need to install a new sensor in each wheel. If not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing - these replacement TPMS sensors take care of that issue and ensure safe, factory function.

No Programming Required. This TPMS Sensor is designed to be on the same 315mhz frequency as the original stock sensor so it doesn't need to be reprogrammed. If not automatically recognized, just use the OEM relearn procedure.

Application. These replacement Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensor is specifically designed for use on 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler JKs. Chrysler/Dodge equivalent part# 5142-340AA, 5605-3036AA

I plan to have new rims and tires put on my 2012 Sahara JKU. I am planning to buy 5 wheels tires since I will need a spare tire. I plan to make the spare tire part of my tire rotation schedule. I do not want to remount tires just because of the TPMS not being already in the spare. Do you sell a set of 5? If the spare tire has a TPMS, does the vehicle system recognize that there are 5 tires? How does it work? Any help sure would be appreciated.

        • Thank you for your question! We do sell these in a set of 5 and I have listed a link down below. Your Jeep will not calibrate the 5th TPMS sensor until it is used in rotation with the tires. Once the 5th is used, it will calibrate to the Jeep. https://www.extremeterrain.com/tpms-kit-5-0712.html

My low pressure indicator light is finally out!

When I first upgraded my wheels, on my 2012 Wrangler, I failed to take into account the pressure monitors. For several years I lived with that annoying light on the dash. In my second Wheel upgrade, I included these sensors with the wheels, and the light is now off for good. I thank Extreme Terrain for pointing out this option when I purchased my new wheels from them.

            Caution

Tires came in 5 different tire pressures, not allowing the sensors to work properly. 2 tires at 60 psi, 2 tires at 28 psi and the spare at 30 psi. Check the tires before you put them on your Jeep!

            non functional

Mount my wheel and tires thinking the sensors would re-learn it self apparently not! Tried everything ended having to get them reflashed so that the TPMS function accordingly. Nothing in the site stated that it would be the case. Other wise the tire wheel set was good

            Tpms

This is a great product!! The only thing wrong is that when I ordered these and a five wheel and tire kit, it doesn't tell you which tire doesn't have the sensor. But otherwise they work great
