Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of Wheels/Tires you will need to install a new sensor in each wheel, if not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing - this individual replacement TPMS sensor takes care of that issue.

No Programming Required. This TPMS Sensor is designed to be on the same 315mhz frequency as the original stock sensor so it doesn't need to be reprogrammed. If not automatically recognized, just use the OEM relearn procedure.

Application. This replacement Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensor is specifically designed for use on 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler JKs. Sold individually.Chrysler/Dodge equivalent part# 5142-340AA, 5605-3036AA

WIll these work with any tire size? I'm assuming yes. It's all about pressure.. but what if you have 35's and you pump them up to 45psi? thanks I'm a noob. .

    • The TPMS Sensor will work correctly as long as the vehicles tires are inflated to the recommended tire pressure.

Can it fit to JK 2008 Wrangler with Australian specs?

Are these just the sensors, or do they include valve stems? And if they are just the sensors, are special valve stems required to fit them?

    • The TPMS Sensor will be the valve stem as well.

I found one of these in my glove box in the 2008 JK I just bought, what is it for, and how does it work?

    • Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System or TPMS Sensor alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit by causing a light to come on, on your dash.

Do they come in a complete set? Can I install them myself or do I need to go to the garage for this?

    • Yes, we offer the TPMS Sensors individually and in a set. We would suggest having a shop due the install since they are pretty sensitive and you would have to unmount the tire from the wheel for install, then remount them.

      Great deal

These were mounted with my Mammoth type 88 wheels. They are mounted on my 2012 JK Sport. I had no issues with my Jeep Picking up the new sensors.

      They work!

Installed these on a new set of wheels and they work just fine. My Jeep recognized them right away with any hiccups, so no relearning procedure was needed. Great product!

      Quick to sink up

Put 5 of these in as part of a rim and tire upgrade. They tied right into the factory TPMS in less than 1/4 mile. I have had no faults or false readings sense installing 2000 mile ago. If only they were available in black!

      No more annoying light

Had these installed along with new wheels and tires. Adjusted air pressure above 35 psi, and the TPMS light is no longer showing low tire pressure.

Bought these with the tire/wheel combo from Extreme Terrain. Wheels arrived in good shape, and these TPMS sensors worked within the first mile of driving. No issues; no problems. Highly Recommended.

They work the way they are suppose to. The valve stems weren’t tightened down when my tires were mounted and shipped. The valve stems vibrate loose after install and the sensors let me know all my tires were leaking the Nitrogen mounting I paid for.

I never saw the sensors. Extreme Terrain put them in the tires in Pensylvania. My mechanic here in SF said everything installed correctly-no problems

They work great but are expensive! Still cheaper than what my local tire company was going to charge me.

When they arrived mounted, one tire was flat. Had my shop look at it and one valve stem was busted. Otherwise A-ok

      TPMS Sensor

TPMS sensors seem to have a wide variation in pricing making it difficult to determine which one you should buy. Just how much difference can there be in such a small product anyway! They all do the same thing in probably the exact same way. I decided on this particular one after going to the manufacturer's web site and getting a feeling that they are a major maker of TPMS as opposed to a company who may buy from some much smaller company and rebranding them. They appear to be well made with great fit and finish. Time will be the deterring factor whether or not I made the right decision. Will the battery last as long as it should? Are the stems as well made as they appear? Time will tell.

      Batteries Died

Bought 5 TPMS Sensors when I replaced the tires since the originals were 8 years old. New sensors only worked for 2 months. Dealership tester showed 1 dead battery and 4 weak batteries. Replaced them with OEM. Cost a lot of money since they had to remove tires and all new sensors.
