Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of Wheels/Tires you will need to install a new sensor in each wheel, if not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing - this individual replacement TPMS sensor takes care of that issue.

No Programming Required. This TPMS Sensor is designed to be on the same 315mhz frequency as the original stock sensor so it doesn't need to be reprogrammed. If not automatically recognized, just use the OEM relearn procedure.

Application. This replacement Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensor is specifically designed for use on 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler JKs. Sold individually.Chrysler/Dodge equivalent part# 5142-340AA, 5605-3036AA

        5 Top Rated Questions

I have a set of 35 inch tires on my wrangler and due to them being a heavier rating than stock I keep them aired down between 25-30 PSI to keep them wearing evenly. Will these sensors still kick the safety system if I keep a lower PSI?

        • As the sensors function the same as the factory sensors they will show an alert if the PSI is lower than factory spec.

If I only buy 4 will I get a warning light from my spare tire that is hanging on the back not in use? Do I have to buy 5 to avoid this?

        • The vehicle is not set to check for a sensor on the spare tire, however if you should need to use your spare without a sensor, the system will register a missing sensor once the tire is installed.

WIll these work with any tire size? I'm assuming yes. It's all about pressure.. but what if you have 35's and you pump them up to 45psi? thanks I'm a noob. .

        • The TPMS Sensor will work correctly as long as the vehicles tires are inflated to the recommended tire pressure.

Can it fit to JK 2008 Wrangler with Australian specs?

        • We have only tested the TPMS Sensors on US/Canadian spec models.

Are these just the sensors, or do they include valve stems? And if they are just the sensors, are special valve stems required to fit them?

        • The TPMS Sensor will be the valve stem as well.

            Works great

I’ve only had them on less than a week but so far working great. No more dash light and they auto programmed great. Just a few mins of driving and poof dash light off I’m happy.

            As advertised

Ordered these with DV8 882 and Nitto Trail Grappler 35s. The valve stem and cap looks very nice in contrast. Look about 20 miles at 45mph to recalibrate my 08 JK. Would order again.

            Works Great!

My jeep had new wheels installed, but never had the TPMS sensors installed. Happened to catch these on sale, about 25.00 bucks a piece, and had them install at local tire store. Works great!!! No more annoying warning beeping when I start the vehicle! Great price considering the tire store wanted about $70.00 per sensor!

            Perfect

I purchased new tires and had the mechanic install the sensors I purchased here. They synced perfectly and I saved more than $100 over dealer costs.

            So far so Good

For months I've been driving the Wrangler with a slow leak to a tire that kept that annoying tire pressure bell going off ,over and over again. Even after the tires were rotated and slow leak was fixed, the bell would come back again and again. I finally upgraded my wheels, tires and added the TPMS to the kit. I made sure the new tires were at the proper psi and the annoying bell was gone. This was done without using a flashcal or diagnostic tester. The bell was automatically gone. The silver valve and cap gives it a nice stylish look as well. So i'm guessing my tires were not the problem, it was the old TPMS that were out of wack. Its been a week and I haven't gotten the tire pressure bell go off again. Thank God.

            Easy and looks great

I ordered these installed with my wheel package. After I Installed the new wheels and took a short test drive the TPMS light was gone and haven't had any issues. They have a nice rigid valve stem that looks nice as well.

TPMS Sensor (07-12 Jeep Wrangler JK)

Take a bit of driving before the TPMS activated. Tires arrived with 18 lbs of pressure thus required to inflate and that's for all five.

Installed these on a new set of wheels and they work just fine. My Jeep recognized them right away with any hiccups, so no relearning procedure was needed. Great product!

            Quick to sink up

Put 5 of these in as part of a rim and tire upgrade. They tied right into the factory TPMS in less than 1/4 mile. I have had no faults or false readings sense installing 2000 mile ago. If only they were available in black!
