Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of Wheels and Tires you will need to install a new sensor in each wheel. If not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing - these replacement TPMS sensors take care of that issue and ensure safe, factory function.

No Programming Required. This TPMS Sensor is designed to be on the same 315mhz frequency as the original stock sensor so it doesn't need to be reprogrammed. If not automatically recognized, just use the OEM relearn procedure.

Application. These replacement Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensor is specifically designed for use on 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler JKs.Chrysler/Dodge equivalent part# 5142-340AA, 5605-3036AA

I haven’t been able to get these to synchronize with my 2009 JK X. We have a few hundred miles on them. So I my next thing will be lowering the tire pressure then airing it back up if I read some of the troubleshooting tips. Any other suggestions or recommendations would be welcome. Thank you

        • We are sorry to hear you are having this issue with the TPMS Sensor Kit. The sensors should sync on their own driving above 15 mph for 15-30 minutes. If the sensor will not sync you can contact your Jeep dealership and they can sync the sensors for you using a tool.

Will Extreme Terrain install the TPMS tire sensor if I buy 5 wheels form you all?

        • The TPMS Sensor Kit can be installed if purchased in a wheel and tire kit, but not with a purchase of just wheels.

Nice, metal stems, didn’t even notice a hitch when I changed over. They read instantly, I guess.

Works with the rims purchased from this website

I originally ordered rims from this website for my Jeep but forgot about the tire pressure sensors and when I was told to go to the dealership they wanted $96 a piece per sensor. Screw that! These worked great and for a great price.

            Works as it should

Swapped out all 5 tires and had these installed also, 5 min of driving down the road and TPMS light went away. Economical sensors that work as they should.

            No problems.

I ordered new rims and tires for my 2012 JKU and purchased these tpms sensors for them. I didn't have a single issue. The courcourt computer read them fine and never once did or has the light come on. I'll order them again when I get another set of rims and tires for playing.

            Put them on they work

We bought these to pair with 5 new Boulder Beadlock wheels as our old TPMS had some age on them. They were installed by our tire store we trust. They could not assure us they would work as they wanted to sell us their brand. They installed them we drove for a week no issues. To ease my wife’s mind I lowered tire pressure 6 pounds didn’t even make 30 feet and the low tire light came lit up on her 2009 Wrangler. Nothing to do put them in drive and relax. If the system isn’t barking you know they are working

Not much to say.... they seem to work good, they are necessary but are very expensive.

            Linked Up Fast

Installed these to replace factory sensors, they linked up in less than 1/4 mile of driving. Only wish they were available in black, not chrome.

            Deals on Wheels

Bought 5 Mickey Thompson MTZ 35's balanced and mounted on great looking 17" Mammoth Boulder Beadlock style rims. I researched prices for months and nobody else even came close! They arrived without blemish and have performed well on extreme trails.
