Description
Specs. One weak point in the stock Jeep design are the metal straps used to secure the rear axle yoke, which can break when you are jouncing along a rutted trail or rock-crawling vigorously. TeraFlex's yoke U-bolt conversion kit enables you to replace the factory Rzeppa flange with a CV cardan-style yoke secured by tough as nails, breakage resistant U-bolt connectors. Your Jeep is likely to take any jolt or torque in stride, but if it doesn't, a broken U-joint of this kind is much easier to change.
Construction. The rear axle yoke kit by TeraFlex is built out of premium materials, including high grade steel topped with black powder coated finish that prevents rust and corrosion. Weighing 2 pounds, this kit replaces the stock yoke with a CV cardan-style variant and makes use of rugged U-bolt connectors, which are included. TeraFlex offers a 12 month limited warranty on this item, their standard warranty for axle components.
