      Description

      Geared for Off-Road Abuse. The Teraflex 9550 VSS Front Shock Absorber for 2.5 in. Lift gives your Jeep Wrangler added clearance while maintaining a comfortable ride both on and off-road. This vehicle-specific shock features a rugged twin-tube design that is made specifically for the needs of extreme off-road use. An internal travel limit helps reduce the impact of over-compression to prevent damage. With its heavy-duty outer tube, you don’t have to worry about dents affecting the workings of the inner tube. Because of the shock’s velocity valve tuning, it works perfectly with TeraFlex suspensions.

      Heavy-Duty Construction. Extreme off-roading calls for an extreme shock absorber. The 9550 VSS’s heavy-duty construction shows that this shock is no lightweight. Its large diameter piston provides excellent dissipation to prevent fade from extreme heat. The triple chrome plated rod has been induction-hardened for superior strength. You won’t have to worry about leaks because the shock’s oil block and seal keeps its fluids where they belong.

      Easy to Install. The 9550 VSS front shock is easy to install with normal hand tools. It features double-welded shock eyelets and premium quality rubber bushings for added strength. All the hardware you need for installation comes with this shock, including a Jeep-specific bar pin.

      Warranty Information. This front shock absorber is covered by Teraflex’s limited lifetime warranty. You are covered for defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own this shock.

      Application. Teraflex’s 9550 VSS Front Shock Absorber for 2.5 in. Lift fits 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. This shock is sold individually.
