Description
Improved Steering Control. Steinjager offers the Gray Hammertone Crossover Steering Kit as an excellent steering system upgrade. It consists of a premium drag link and a tie rod with reinforced configuration. Each one consists of an independent connection to the passenger side spindle. This design significantly improves your TJ’s precision control and stability, especially when coursing through challenging trails. These components sport a rugged gray hammertone finish that adds a distinctively aggressive appeal to your TJ’s confident stance.
Off-Road Durability. Designed to handle your Jeep’s off-roading demands, this Crossover Steering Kit is composed of high-quality components. The tie rod and drag link were crafted from heavy-duty, 1.50-inch DOM tubing. It also includes 0.75-inch chrome moly rod ends for reliable support for heavy torque loads. Moreover, this kit utilizes superior Grade 8 hardware with exceptional yield and tensile strengths that offer optimum anchoring support in high-stress steering locations. Furthermore, the gray hammertone powder coating offers an extra layer of protection from corrosion, abrasion, and chipping.
Simple Installation With Drilling. This Crossover Steering Kit requires that the Pitman arm and spindles be drilled out to 5/8-inch. The drag link connects to the Pitman arm and to the passenger spindle while the tie rod attaches to the spindles on both sides. This installation process completes with moderate mechanical skills needed. Re-alignment is highly recommended after installation.
Limited Warranty. Steinjager backs this Crossover Steering Kit with a limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Some exclusions may apply. Please see the terms and conditions for full details.
Application. The Steinjager Gray Hammertone Crossover Steering Kit is intended for use on all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models that is lifted between 0-4 inches.
Note. It is recommended that you either have 4-inch or less backspacing and a minimum 16-inch rim. Factory 15-inch rims may rub the heim joints.
