Description
Superior Steering Dynamics. Experience enhanced steering performance by upgrading your factory steering set-up with this Steinjager Bare Metal Crossover Steering Kit. This assembly corrects the steering geometry of your Jeep Wrangler TJ for an improved handling and better stability, especially when your Jeep tackles challenging terrains. Moreover, this kit is designed to work well with or without the factory sway bar.
Off-Road Durability. Built for your Wrangler’s off-roading demands, this Crossover Steering Kit consists of CNC-machined drag link bar and tie rod with 0.75-inch chrome moly ends. These components are constructed from heavy-duty, DOM tubing that exhibits high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Additionally, its bare metal surface conveniently gives you an option for a custom color to match your TJ’s off-road style.
Simple Installation. Installing this Crossover Steering Kit requires moderate mechanical skills. The Pitman arm and spindles need to be drilled out to 5/8-inch. The drag link bar attaches to the Pitman arm and to the passenger side spindle, while the tie rod connects to the bottom of the spindles on each side.
Limited 1-Year Warranty. A limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship is offered by Steinjager for this Crossover Steering Kit for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The products will be repaired, replaced, or refunded if found defective upon Steinjager’s sole discretion. Please check the terms and conditions for complete details.
Application. The Steinjager Bare Metal Crossover Steering Kit is specifically designed for all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models that is lifted between 0-4 inches.
Note. It is recommended that you either have 4-inch or less backspacing and a minimum 16-inch rim. Factory 15-inch rims may rub the heim joints.
