Your vehicle needs a steady stream of air and gas in order to conquer difficult unpaved terrain. The fuel system of you Jeep YJ consists of a fuel tank, lines, pumps, sending units, filters, and injectors. If any one of these vital components fails, your vehicle may not run. A small hole in the fuel lines, for instance, will adversely affect driving performance, while a bad fuel pump will leave you stranded every time. Because these problems can be difficult to diagnose, many off-roading enthusiasts simply replace their stock Jeep YJ fuel systems with ones that are specifically designed to handle challenging off-road trails.
