Steering Upgrade. The Steer Smarts YETI XD Drag Link No-Drill Top Mount is a heavy-duty steering linkage designed to enhance steering performance on Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models from 2018 through 2027. This drag link improves steering response and durability by providing a robust bolt-on solution that requires no drilling or modification of the factory knuckle, making it ideal for high-steer lifted vehicles.

Construction and Appearance. Forged from medium carbon high-hardenability steel and heat-treated for strength, this drag link features fully greaseable 30mm 1 1/2 ton ball joints with steel-on-steel bearings for long-lasting wear resistance. The components are finished with a powder-coat over an E-coat base for enhanced corrosion resistance and a clean, durable appearance suited for tough off-road conditions.

Installation. Installation typically requires approximately 1.5 hours and moderate mechanical skill. The no-drill top mount design enables quick bolt-on installation without knuckle modification. However, a minimum 4.5–5 inch lift with proper bump stops is required, and consideration for wheel offset or spacers is necessary to ensure proper clearance. Basic hand tools, a torque wrench, and a pickle fork are needed for installation.

Warranty. This product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Application. Designed specifically to fit Jeep Wrangler JL models from 2018 through 2026. Note that the no-drill top mount configuration requires sufficient lift and wheel clearance and is incompatible with OEM 17" wheels or OEM offset/backspacing.
