        Do the guards extend far enough from the body to rest a foot on while driving without doors?

        • You would be able to rest your foot on these while driving without the doors.

        Can these be welded to the frame instead of drilling and using the self tapping screw method?

        • These are designed to be a bolt on application and anything else would be a custom job.

        Can these be installed upside down. Like the reverseabars?

        • These are not designed to be reversible, you may be able to fabricate a new bracket. However, this would not be recommended and can void any warranty provided by the manufacturer.

        Will these clear the fender extention piece on an '05 TJ? (Forward and below the door hinges) Thanks

        • The Smittybilt SRC Rocker Guards will clear the factory fenders and fender flares, but will not clear most extensions or mud flaps.

            Rocker Guards

            The self tapping screws sent with the Rocker Guards are junk! Go buy better ones, other than that I love em.

            Already served its purpose

            Great product for a good price. Install was pretty straight forward, hardest part was just getting it level and lined up on both sides. I'd suggest having an extra set of hands. Already saved the side of my Jeep from an angry rock that I failed to see on the trail. Held up great, not even dinged up. Looks great.

            Beyond happy with these!

            Everything went smooth. From the placing of the order to the arrival and install. I couldn't be more pleased with how this whole transaction took place. I live in Hawaii and the shipping here is a bummer as well as the delivery time. However, this purchase showed up in (2) days and the shipping was very reasonable for Hawaii. I look forward to purchasing more parts from Extreme Terrain for my Jeep Wrangler TJ.

            Have a good drill bit set!

            These were easy to install but they took me a long time because the drill set i was borrowing were very dull. I bought a new set that made it a breeze. I recommend having some jack stands as well so you can line it up better on each side. I love having the perfect spot to set my left foot down on while driving down the road with the doors off!

            sexy look.

            SRC side rails are awesome looking and very beefy. I would recommend these to anyone. The only flaw I've run into with these is I wear a size 13 shoe so it's a little hard to use them as a step. Other then that they are amazing. I havent had the chance to take them offroading yet. 3 weeks then rocks and valley in michigan here we come.
