Boost Performance. Rugged Ridge makes this Throttle Body Spacer for the latest and greatest Wrangler JK models to help you boost your engine's performance, torque, and horsepower. The large bore spacer raises the throttle body 1 inch above the intake manifold, thus letting your Jeep's engine suck in plenty of cold, dense, power-boosting air. You can install this high quality aluminum spacer in an hour or two using simple hand tools, with no need to drill new holes.

Durable Construction. With a gasket and all hardware included, the Throttle Body Spacer by Rugged Ridge comes ready to install. Measuring 1 inch in thickness to give a similar lift to the throttle body above the engine manifold, this spacer features a large, smooth bore for pulling in plenty of air. Construction is solid aluminum for toughness and corrosion resistance, further enhanced by a black anodized coating. Rugged Ridge covers this part with a 5 year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

Application. This Rugged Ridge Throttle Body Spacer is specifically designed to be used on the 2012-2018 Wrangler JK and JL models equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine.

Technical Note. This Rugged Ridge Throttle Body Spacer is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

    • The Rugged Ridge Throttle Body Spacer will produce this whistling sound which is common for all throttle body spacers.

      Rugged Ridge Throttle Body

The Rugged Ridge Throttle Body did nothing for my Jeep but cause the O2 sensor to come on. I changed that sensor and now another one has went bad on the opposite side, I will not recommend this to anyone, should have got the one from Airaid I know that one it doesn't cause problems. Now I'm out two O2 sensors!!!!

      Quick and easy

Not sure about true performance gains, as I paired this install with the install of the RedRock cold air and axle back exhaust, but the install itself was suuuper easy and quick.

      Great

It’s definitely as advertised. I paired it with a RedRock air intake. It was a tight squeeze with the two combined but once it fit in there it was great. Immediately noticed a difference in power and an increase in MPG. For the money you can’t beat it.

      couldn't stand the whistle

the item arrived quickly, as described. installation was relatively easy. however, immediately upon installing it i developed a very annoying whistling sound whenever i pressed the gas pedal. i left it on there about a week to see if there were any performance gains, and I did not notice any at all. i removed it because the whistle was embarrassing in parking lots

      Throttle Body

Very impressed with the performance, price, and install of the TBS. Immediate low end pickup with a responsive throttle all the way through the rev range.

      Looks And Sounds Cool

Pretty cool and simple install. You're not going to notice a crazy difference in power, torque, or gas mileage (I may have gotten a 0.5 mpg but I drive on city streets a lot so every little bit helps). It does look pretty cool and it's a good install to go with a cold air intake. It does give a nice air sucking sound when you give it some gas. It took my cousin and I less than an hour to install and we did it in the dark so one of us held the light while the other did the work.

      It's just ok.

I did see a little more throttle response, but no great thrill. I had to take it off though because the new AFE cold air intake wouldn't fit with it installed.

      Excellent choice

Simple addition to add a little more horse power. Easy install with the new cold air intake. It seems my little 3.6 can actually breath now.

Dead Spot Gone After Going to 35” tires

After going to 35” tires on my 2013 JKU Rubicon, with 3.73 ratio, I had a definite lag in throttle response, and what felt like a dead spot in torque when accelerating. Adding the Spacer improved throttle response, to immediate, with no dead spot at all. I was impressed that I got the same stock snap I had with stock rubber.

      Excellent product!

I was skeptical at first, after I installed it I went for a drive and I could definitely feel a difference in throttle response from a stop, throttle up hill and when passing. There is an increase in fuel mileage as well.

      Worth it

It's still debated weather CIA/TBS make a difference with the 3.6's in JK's since they're optimized so well from the factory but the combination of this and a cold air intake gave me a nice throaty sound when accelerating and made my gas pedal a bit more snappy.
