      Relocation bracket

Like the look of the brackets would buy again just know that they don’t come with longer screws so you gotta use you factory ones which only gives you a couple threads to grip with. With that said go to local supply store an get some half in longer ones an some blue locktite. Put stock bolts back in without the tite an lost one with only being a few threads holding. Alain know that the factory mirrors have lugs on the bottom of the upper piece that the brackets don’t account for. You can tighten down enough to hold just sticks up an 1/8 above the bracket. Over all I’m satisfied would buy again.

      Better option

Much more sturdy and convenient than mirrors that mount in the door hinge. Removing the bolts for installation may be difficult.

Works great if you can get the torque screws out.

Yes I have the right socket. No I didn't try to use a Philips. Yes I stripped the heck* out of the screw. Darn* you jeep. I had to take it to a shop to get the screws out. Oh the Brackets! Yes, they work great. Super simple and exactly what you expect. * Had to replace the swear words.

      Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation Brackets

An impact was required to remove the existing tapered bolts and a few quality Torxhead drivers were destroyed in the process. Because the holes are countersunk, the OEM tapered bolts are not appropriate and a standard pan head needs to be sourced or the bracket reamed with a countersink. The mounting brackets are well constructed and fit well, however, the passenger side mirror is obstructed by the mullion in this position so using the stock mirror is not an option. The driver's side is fine.

      Not work for Passenger side

Works great for the drivers side. Cannot see the mirror with the doors on on the passenger side, I put the original bracket back on the door panel for now. . Need to re-design.

      Relocate Brackets

The brackets were of fine quality. The problem is that the passenger side mirror is not useable in the location that this bracket puts them when the doors are installed.

      Good product

They do exactly what they are meant to do. Straight forward good construction and decent price make them a must for anyone wantin to lose their doors this summer.

      Solid Bracket

Not quite a stock look, but the closest I have purchased. I have three sets of aftermarket "doors off" mirrors, and they are all in a box now. Having the stock mirrors back with the doors off is the look I was going for the whole time, and didn't even know it.

      Good quality but...

The brackets are great quality and bolt on flawlessly to my 99 TJ. However, after 2 days use I moved my mirrors back to the doors for 2 reasons: 1. The mirrors (I bought two new door mirrors as well for this setup) wouldn't stay put for some reason (kept eventually folding down). I tightened and retighten the mirrors and it lasted longer but eventually the wind/vibration combo would push them back down. 2. They vibrated so much more that I couldn't see any detail in the mirror. I will leave the brackets in place and will use my old door mirrors when I need to remove the doors.

      Worth every penny

The product was exactly what it was sold as. Fits great and was not hard to install at all. The bolts were a bit hard to remove due to the lock tight from the factory but nothing to hard to remove with an impact driver. The passenger side does position fine with the doors off, which is the point of having these brackets. I can see why some have said they are blocked with doors on but I live where doors are not needed more than a few times a year so perfect for what I needed.

      Works great

I decided to order these after considering several other options. These went on in minutes with the factory mirrors. They’ve been on all summer and haven’t moved. They don’t vibrate or cause a wind noise as most other reviews for other products mention. Highly recommend this item.

Passenger mirror is useless with the doors on

You can’t see the passenger mirror with the doors on. There should be an extension on the bracket so it can still be used or at least an option to purchase one.

      Quick and easy

I tried twice to get brackets from a competitor, but they were out of stock on both attempts. The Extreme Terrain brackets cost a little more, but they were sent out quickly and fit perfectly. My only negative comment is that there were no instructions in the box but it was easy to figure out.

      ok

Hassle free install - except for the fact that there isn't any hardware included, and the factory bolts are too short. Buy the smitty built kit for $25.00 and save a headache.
