Classic Styling. If you're running without doors or looking for a more classic look, the Rugged Ridge Black CJ Style Mirror Kit will give your TJ or LJ just what it needs with a slimming CJ appeal. By scrapping your big bulky factory mirrors you'll gain a slimmer profile and mirrors which feature a windshield hinge mount using existing bolt holes for a simple installation. These square Wrangler mirrors are the perfect complement to a classic bikini and are sure to make your rig stand out from the crowd.

Durable Construction. This CJ mirror kit for TJs is made from quality materials and features a black finish for resistance against corrosion and the elements. Just as the classic CJ option did, these mirrors feature an adjustable, central swivel point allowing you to rotate and tune into your mirror needs.

Application. The Rugged Ridge Black CJ Style Mirror Kit is specifically designed for use on all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models, include Unlimited (LJ) and Rubicon models.

    • Thank you for your question! These will be compatible with the doors, but you will have to remove your stock mirror off of the door first.

      Horrible

Don't waste your money. You will spend more time adjusting and readjusting the mirror view than anything else. Great concept, horrible execution. Heading to hardware store now to see if some different pieces will make them stay.

It looks great and is easy to install! Makes a bit of a whistling noise but you get used to it.

      great price good product

These mirrors re working out very well, install was very easy, took only a few minutes per side. My only concern is they vibrate going over 50 mph and it takes a while to get them tight enough to not move going down the road. Be patient with them and you will eventually get them there.... Overall great product for what I needed

      CJ Style Mirror Kit

Fine looking product. These mirrors allow the full doors to come off easily and I frankly don't understand why Jeep didn't come with them. I would add an adjustable door limit strap to the "kit" because my stock strap allowed the door to contact the mirror when opened all the way.

      Looks nothing like the pictures

I ordered these mirrors and went to install the passenger side and the bend on the arm is much more than the driver side. I sent them back because there is just no way that it would work right. I wait a week and a half to get replacements sent, same thing. I figured bad looking mirrors are better than a ticket for no mirrors (doors off) so I am keeping them but the passenger side sits about 4 inches higher than the driver side and is at a completely different angle so from the front it looks terrible. I am not pleased and wish I wouldnt have wasted my money

      great fit no movement

while researching for side mirrors for jeep so I can remove doors. I found others a little cheaper but the plastic holding the mirrors look to crack after tightening down. These are perfect. I took off doors and no movement on the arm attached to jeep frame. Had jeep up to 75mph, and no issues. These are rock solid. Thinking of removing the original mirrors on the door to continue to use these. GREAT product!!!!!

      Rugged Ridge mirrors

The bolts that came in the kit are to short to even mount the bracket to the jeep. I returned them.

      Quick disconnect mirrors

I bought these quick disconnect mirrors they technically fit on a 97 through 06 but the mounting screws you must use are different than the newer body Jeep and if you allow your door to swing open it will Dent your door. I removed them and sent them back with no problems and ordered the CJ style mirrors which I love.

economy mirrors work but have shortcomings

These mirrors work but are low end. The stalk tubing is adequate but not robust, the metal stamping that makes the mirror pan is thin enough that the mirrors vibrate with engine idle and road bumps. You have to tighten the heck out of the clamp bolt to keep them from blowing back on the highway. But all that said, they do work and look good.

Looked great, but could not get them to stay put.

Loved the look of the mirrors, but we could not get them to stay put and be able to see anything behind the jeep. Ultimately returned them.

      Mediocre at best

They whistle. The driver side and passenger side are not the same height. Build quality is fine. They look good. But what gave it the one star is how freaking hard it is to adjust them. In the pictures it looks like a ball joint on the back of the mirror. Should be easy right? It's NOT a ball joint. It just looks like one. It is a piece of plastic. I spent more time trying to get the dumb thing looking in the right direction than I did installing it. Definitely would not recommend

      Mirrors work perfect

I was a little worried after reading the post about them moving in the wind, but if you tighten them down, they work. Had some trouble taking the windshield bracket bolts out. I used a torch to break them lose.

      Good quality

The mirrors look good and mount to the car on the side of the windsheild which I like, but when u go to open the doors the mirrors get in the way, when the windows are down though it's no big deal

      Find another mirror.

The mounting bracket needed to be disassembled in order to be mounted. This was difficult because it was in two pieces and lining it up tightly just wasn't happening. Once (finally) mounted, they vibrate terribly on the highway. I wish I'd spent a bit more money and done factory replacements.

      will work but not good

The extension arms did not bend the same way as the instructions showed. Had to put the rh on the lh to get them to aim good. Acorn nut for one side was missing.
