      Description

Smooth Drive. Do you enjoy going off-road and exploring rocky, bouncy areas? You'll greatly reduce the wear on your tires, tie rods, shocks, and the rest of your suspension by installing this steering stabilizer. The chrome-hardened rod is designed to fit lifted Jeep Wrangler JK models with at least a two-inch lift. Bump steer and vibration decrease immediately, rewarding you with a smoother ride, better handling, and longer tire life.

Relocate for Safety. On the Wrangler JK and many other vehicles, the stock stabilizers are located behind the axle tube where high rocks and other obstacles can hang on them. Relocating the stabilizers is a quick way to prevent bent or broken parts, and the powder-coated steel bracket included in this kit moves the part behind the steering link for greater protection. The bracket is a direct fit for the stabilizer included in the set, but it also works with the original factory stabilizers on the matching Jeep models.

Quick Installation. You won't spend all day trying to get these aftermarket suspension parts on. With a few basic tools, you'll be done with the bolt-on installation in one to two hours. All the hardware is included from tough U-bolts to properly angled mounting brackets.

Application. This Rough Country Steering Stabilizer with Relocation Bracket fits all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.

        Easy Install

The stabilizer was easy to install. Just need about 10 minutes. It seems to work well enough, but I have only used it for about 2,000 miles.

        Steering much improved

This stabilizer met the expectations I’d hoped for. Installl was easy except the tools needed weren’t accurate. It greatly enhanced control (no more dip drifting) and looks great.

Other than the bracket that moves stabilizer, is there any difference in the shock compared to the teraflex 9550?

      • The teraflex 9550 Steering Stabilizer (Item J15272, found here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/teraflex-steering-jk-tj-yj-1513001.html) will feature an integrated dust shield protects the shock rod from high impact salt and sand damage. Will this product fit on a RHD Wrangler?

      • We have not tested the Rough Country Steering Stabilizer with Relocation Bracket on RHD models to confirm fitment. I would recommend consulting with Rough country directly to see if this will work with your application, or if another part number may be more suitable.

I recently installed 1.5in wheel spacers on my jk with stock wheels and some larger tires, i noticed that I was getting a wobble around 50mph and it got worse when i hit some bumps, it's not as bad as the death wobble, but would this be of any use to try and fix it? I took it to a shop and they re-balanced my wheels and that helped a little, but they said I should look into a steering stabilizer.

      • This would certainly be a great help with the bump steering you are experiencing.

I just installed the rough country 3.5 inch lift, we noticed the bracket to change the location of the stock stabilizer was not in the box, I was planning to get a new stabilizer anyways, will this bracket and stabilizer work with the rough country lift kit? It would need to attach to the track bar relocation bracket the kit used.

      • The Rough Country Steering Stabilizer w/ Relocation Bracket would work with that lift kit yes.
