Rough Country Exhaust Extensions (12-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

Making Room. Lifting your Wrangler JK increases your clearance for adventuring past the pavement but, unfortunately, the undercarriage as it comes from the factory is a little crowded. These exhaust extensions from Rough Country are the fastest way to create more room between the exhaust and drive-shaft. In certain Jeep models, lifting the suspension above 2 inches allows the exhaust to potentially knock against the drive-shaft. Inserting these two perfectly shaped extensions creates the right amount of gap around the cross pipe to eliminate problems. The exhaust gains an extra two inches of rearward length, creating enough of a gap for practically any amount of lift you want.

Tough Enough. Each round extension is formed from cold rolled steel, the strongest type of steel available for this kind of application. Coupled with strong bolts, the extensions can handle any kind of shock or bounce as your Jeep Wrangler takes you along the roughest mud tracks and rock quarries. Flared and curved edges create a perfect fit between the extenders and the flanges on the exhaust tubing so there's no chance of slipping.

Installation. As long as you have the tools for getting underneath your Jeep and adjusting the exhaust, you'll find that this project takes under two hours. The exhaust system must be cool during installation.
