      Description

Plenty of Clearance for Rough Terrains. Go off-roading in rough terrain without worrying about the clearance under your Wrangler. The 6-inch X-Series Long Arm Suspension with Shocks provides your Jeep with 6 inches of ground clearance to ensure it's safe from any damage. This lift will complement a set of 37-inch tires with room to flex. You won't have to sacrifice road capabilities in extreme trails when you're driving with this suspension system.

Lift Construction. It doesn't get much more complete than this kit. The only thing you would need is a replacement rear driveshaft to maintain the correct pinion angle. You wouldn't want that to slip out on the trail! The adjustable control arms are 2 inches in diameter with flex joints for excellent articulation. The dual Y-link setup gives your axles the room the move so you can navigate the trails with confidence. The skid plate is 1/4 inch thick steel to keep your rig's underside protected. Rough Country's 2.2 series performance shocks are designed with Wrangler owners in mind. Rough Country takes into account for drivers utilizing oversized tires and wheels, so they make their shocks that much tougher.

Application. The 6" X-Series Long Arm Suspension with Shocks is specifically designed for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models.

Freight Notes. Freight items can only be shipped within the continental 48 states, no expedited methods.

Ordering and shipping were effortless. Highly recommend you order the rear drive shaft and slip yoke eliminator kit when you purchase this lift kit. I also put in a Rough Country Dual Steering Stabilizer. Not expensive and minimal labor to install. Glad I had a shop do all the installs. Recommend you try several shops to negotiate the best install price. Also, keep in mind that there may be unexpected issues that pop up during installation especially on older Jeeps.

Take your time and get a good grinder when removing the lower fram mounts. The install is a easy bolt on

        Rough Country Long Arm

I am very happy with this long arm lift kit! This is my first long arm and though it's not your $5,000 kit it is absolutely perfect for me.

        2 2000 Wrangler - ToyotaKilla77 Installation Time: Weekend

        Poor quality and bad instructions

I've installed many lifts on a variety of vehicles and this is by far the worst one! Both of the front upper control arms weren't tapped correctly and the heim joints wouldn't tread all the way down where they needed to be so I had to go buy a tap that was $31 dollars! Also was missing a bag of parts and the paint was already chipping out of the box in my eyes that is terrible quality and I would not puchase this kit if I could do it all over not worth the headache

      Questions & Answers (1 answers)

      1 Top Rated Question

I was looking at this lift kit Rough Country 65922 6in Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit. From the installation video it looks like the control arm bracket might not fit over the frame repair, the Safe T Cap Center Frame at Skid Plate Mount (ART-113-S) 97-02. It says the cap is 3” wide. Is this correct? If so what are some alternatives with this kit or others?
