        RC 4 inch lift

Great product, relatively easy to install with time and PB Blaster. Me and a buddy got it knocked out in 2 days. Gives good look and better functionality to my yj

        1 1992 Wrangler - Noahs_YJ Installation Time: Afternoon

        Made in China sticker

Bought this kit, first thing I noticed is it rode rough. If you want back surgery or a blown disc this is your kit. Second the bushing on the leaf springs were shot in about 2 months of wheeling. If you want a kit for looks but not performance this is the kit for you. 10/10 would not buy again unless I wheeled at the mall.

        4" lift on YJ Sahara

I've had this lift on for awhile now. So far there are no issues with this lift. It's a great lift for the price and looks great. I dont do any extreme rock climbing in my jeep but for on the road and some basic four wheeling this lift is great.

        Rough, country

The name speaks itself. The shocks are a little rough, the bushings wear out quick. I’m talking a few months max. The country part puts me in the woods more. A 4” spring lift brings me up to 6.25” of lift and I can travel over some things I could never before. Yes I’m talking about you trail logs.

5 1990 Wrangler - JakeM Installation Time: Full Day

        Great kit!

Everything went in as described. The only thing I had to do that wasn't mentioned was cut away some material on my shifter seal, under the shifter boot. It didn't want to shift into 2nd, 4th, or reverse until I did this. Also highly recommend getting new spring bolts for the front and rear, and some shock boots.

        Fun to install

I couldn't have done it by myself, but my son and I enjoyed this two day project with a couple jack stands and decent set of wrenches. Good instructions included and plan on 12 hours if you take a lot of breaks like me and have only done this once before on an international scout. Be prepared for a few rusty bolts on a 30 year old Jeep YJ. The final product looks great and actually gave me 5 inches of life because the stock springs were sagging. Jeep fits 33's now just fine. Be sure to order the part that calibrates the speedo if you go with larger tires. 1989 Jeep YJ, 2.5 motor, 5 speed trans.

Couldn't be more nicely packed! Everything came quick and was thick metal. Much better than any stock parts. Everything lined up and went smooth

on the rough country 4' suspension lift for 89 wrangler do you have to buy longer brake lines ?

      • This kit includes brake line relocation brackets, so purchasing new brake lines is not required. If you intend to do major crawling at full articulation, upgrading to longer lines would be a worth while investment.

I have an 89 YJ. I am looking to replace the existing shocks and leaf springs. The shackles that are currently on the jeep are 9 and 3/4 long. The seem to be so long that they have assisted in flattening the leaf springs over time. What shackles would you recommend with this kit?

      • Stock length shackles would be used with this kit, unless additional lift is required.
