Protect Your Investment. The most effective way of making sure your Wrangler's engine sees a long life with reliable performance is through regular oil changes. And there is no better oil available for your Jeep than Royal Purple. Royal Purple is a full synthetic oil that contains a patented additive to reduce engine wear and protect your rings, cylinders, and bearings more than any other. It also sticks to your engine's internals after shutdown to protect your Jeep's engine upon startup.

Superior Performance. Unlike other oils, Royal Purple continues protecting your engine even at high temperatures, making it a great choice for every Jeep. It lubricates better regardless of temperature, ensuring your Wrangler will run right whether you're stuck in a traffic jam or off road. Many Jeep owners even report better throttle response or even horsepower gains with Royal Purple.

Resists Breakdown. Royal Purple is more resistant to breakdown than other oils, meaning you can go longer on an oil change without worrying about engine damage.

Application. This Royal Purple is a 5w30 weight oil. Check your Wrangler's oil cap or owner's manual for the correct weight for your engine.

      Great oil

My JKU runs a lot smoother and starts up smoother.

      Cold weather oil

I used this in the middle of winter, when I lived on the Canadian border. Check your owners manual. It calls for 5w30, in weather below freezing. This will aid in start up, as it flows better colder. This is not what you should be using in summer or down South. 10w30 is a better fit for the 4.0, unless you are up in the Rockies.

      Royal Purple is the King

Royal purple is expensive. BUT you get what you pay for. I have been an avid user of royal purple in my daily driver and track cars and am now bringing that to my Jeep. I am not a scientist and cannot fully verify that this is leaps and bounds about other synthetic oils, but it has never let me down and I have not yet had an issue with oil breakdown or excessive wear.
