Style and Function. A pair of RedRock 4x4's HD Rocker Steps are a great way to make getting in and out of your lifted JK Wrangler a much easier task. With an angular stepped design, these black textured Rocker Steps not only provide easy entry into your Jeep, but they also give your JK an aggressive off-road appearance. As an added bonus, these HD Rocker Steps provide additional protection from both road and trail hazards, as well as those irritating parking lot door dings.

Heavy Duty Construction. RedRock 4x4 manufactures their HD Rocker Steps from heavy duty, fabricated steel plate for superior strength and rigidity. After trimming and final assembly RedRock then completes their Rocker Steps in a 2 stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. RedRock 4x4 engineered their HD Rocker Steps to be a direct bolt-on upgrade reusing the factory mounting points and hardware. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward installation. Installation can be completed in about 2 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a good friend.

Application. This pair of RedRock 4x4 HD Rocker Steps are designed for use on 2007-2018 4 Door Jeep Wrangler JK models. Driver and passenger side included.

Good step but needs attention during the install

The instruction basically is useless. It is like for some other product. But the video is very useful. A fairly easy install, I spent more time getting the Rubi rail out. As mentioned by the video, due to the curve of the jeep, the rail is very close to the body after the front door. In my first install, the rail touches the body slightly and it has some rattling noise on the road. So I installed it again. Loosen all the bolts and pull the rail out (away from the body) as much as I can, and then tighten all the bolts. Now no noise on the road. I think it fits its price. But if I have a little bit more budget, I will consider other ones.

            As expected

From reading reviews before purchase I expected the instructions to be useless and they were but after setting the steps along side the jeep it was clear what needed to be done to install the packing list on the website leads you to believe that there is more hardware than there actually is only reason it is not 5 stars is the directions and one small spot where the powder coat was chipped off on one of the steps

            Nice product with horrible instructions

The rocker steps are great. They are very heavy duty and the built in steps are solid. The install instructions are a joke...see the attached image that shows what came in the box for instructions. The packaging was top notch with everything well wrapped in foam sheets. I switched from regular nerf bars with plastic steps because the plastic deteriorates so quickly. If I had to do it again I'd pick the model where the drop steps are lower since these are almost at door height. Lastly, it took a while to figure out which bracket went where because the are 3 unique brackets on each side and as I said, the instructions don't help. Removal of the existing nerf bars, time spent figuring out which brackets went where, and install of the brackets and steps took about an hour and a half total. We wasted about 30 minutes figuring out the bracket layout, so if you get they right from the start the while job should take less than an hour.
