Construction and Appearance. Crafted with billet aluminum top and end caps for enhanced strength and serviceability, the gearbox features a Saginaw-style design with a larger piston for improved torque. Ports for Cylinder Assist are precision machined directly into the case using metric O-ring seals, avoiding any welded fittings. The unit is built for lasting durability with robust metal construction.

Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is not a quick bolt-in swap. Modifications such as shortening or replacing the intermediate steering shaft, use of a dedicated hose conversion kit, and possibly a one-inch body lift for clearance are necessary. No drilling is required since the unit mounts using the factory 3-bolt inside-the-frame pattern.
