Description
Burly Rock Sliders with a Step Bar Function. Bolting right onto the frame for a rock-solid attachment, the Poison Spyder Frame Mounted Ricochet Rockers intercept and deflect hard edges of rock or random saplings before they can crunch into your 2007-2018 Wrangler’s thin sheet metal, crumpling it. Designed foremost for protection, they also serve as practical side steps on 2-door Jeeps, too. The 5” wide dimpled plate in their middle provides the double purpose of strengthening the outer slider and giving your foot traction and support while climbing into the vehicle. They also have a tough, rugged, but streamlined look that fits the adventurous spirit of the trail.
Heavy-Duty Fabrication. Every bit of the Poison Spyder Frame Mounted Ricochet Rockers is built for strength, with the inner rocker rail made from 0.120” wall thickness 1.75” DOM steel tubing. The outer slider rail is 1.5” DOM steel, with similar 0.120” walls. CNC laser-cut 1/8” steel plate is used for both the end gussets and the step plates. This part is supplied unpainted, so you will need to paint or powder-coat it prior to installation. The mounting gussets are tough 3/16” plate steel.
Choice of Bolt-On or Weld-On Installation. The Poison Spyder Frame Mounted Ricochet Rockers are made so that they can bolt onto the frame (rather than the weak, flexible tub), though a few new holes must be drilled. Hardware is supplied for this purpose. However, instructions are also included for welding the rockers permanently to your Jeep’s frame.
12-Month Warranty. The Poison Spyder Frame Mounted Ricochet Rockers come with a 1-year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
