How to Install Olympic 4x4 Sierra Rack ll - Textured Black (87-18 Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK & JL) on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Remove three spare tire bolts using either your socket wrench and adaptor or factory lug wrench. Keep the three lugs nearby as you will need them later.

2. With the spare tire removed, place the mounting bracket over the spare mounting threads. If the two mounting bolts are at the top and one on the bottom, flip the plate upside down as it’s universal for aftermarket mounting applications.

3. Remount spare tire over mounting bracket and tighten lugs between 40-80 FT-Lbs with a Torque Wrench or tight enough the tire is secure.

4. Take cargo extension bar and slide over the mounting plate. Line up the first hole and place the 1/4” Pull Pin through. Once secure, place a 1/2” set screw in the grommet and tighten with your Allen Wrench until hand tight. Do not overtighten as you could strip the screw.

5. Place basket over cargo extension support bar and line up the hole with the preferred mounting point on the extension bar as it is adjustable. Place 1/4” Pull Pin through hole.

6. Place the other 1/2” set screw in the cargo basket and hand tighten with the Allen Wrench. Again do not overtighten as you could strip it. 

7. Your installation is now complete. To remove cargo basket, simply remove pull pins and set screws.
