    Review & Install Video

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Non-Slip Pet Ramp, fitting all 1987 and up Wranglers. Today, we're gonna talk through a few of the features and the construction of this ramp. This is, of course, for those of you who have larger dogs that have trouble getting in and out of your stock or lifted height Wrangler. Whether your dog is a little bit older or just has some trouble jumping up, this pet ramp will make it a lot easier for them to get in and out, while still being foldable. So it's easy to throw in the back seat of your Wrangler once your dog is in or out of the vehicle. This ramp is made of plastic, and it does have a non-slip, red grip surface right on it, so it makes it very easy for your dog to get up and down. It also has some rubber feet on both the top and the bottom, which are also non-slip, so when you put this in place, it's going to stay in place. And as you can see, it is designed to fold in the middle, and it has a locking mechanism to keep it folded, which will make it a lot easier to store inside of your Jeep. All you'll need to do every time you wanna use it is pull it out, undo the lock, so it opens up, set it in your Jeep either at the tailgate or at the door, let your dog walk up, and then fold it back away so you can use it next time. In my opinion, this ramp is fairly-priced. It is around $100, but you get something that's very sturdy, easy to clean, easy to setup and store. And it does have the non-slip tape on it, so it's gonna make it really easy for your pet to get in and out. Even if your dog is up to 200 pounds, they're gonna be able to use this ramp without a problem. So that's my review of the Non-Slip Pet Ramp, fitting all 1987 and up Wranglers that you can find right here at exremeterrain.com.

Low Stress Ramp. The Non-Slip Pet Ramp provides a gentle incline instead of the stark jump down (or up) that could cause extreme pain for your pooch. The low impact design of this ramp is ideal for elderly dogs and those suffering from arthritis, hip dysplasia or a handicap which leads to pain in jumping up or down.

Durable Construction. This ramp is easy to use for both you and your four legged friend with a foldable, storable, latched design that ensures it won't come open during travel. Constructed of durable plastic the ramp is able to hold up to 200lbs, it features a non-slip surface for secure footing and easy cleaning.

Application. The Non-slip pet ramp features a universal design fit for use on your 1987-2018 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK and JL.

      Very nice!

I purchased this for my 12 year old dog after I hurt my back and was having trouble lifting him in the Jeep. The non-slip grip worked really well and although he had a little trouble at first, he quickly got the hang of it. It is pretty lightweight and easy to set up.

      Great color and texture

But it unfortunately doesn't fit with the doors on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL. Works ok from the back, although is a little steep for my senior. When trying to use it on the Sahara with the step and the door it is at too steep an angle and not very stable. Good quality and texture, not much slipping.

      My dog loves the ramp!

It fits the jeep perfectly, is not heavy, and has a non skid surface. My dog used it after surgery and it allowed her to descend slowly with the non skid surface. Would highly recommend it to others!

      Ramp

The ramp is to steep my husband had to buy a hitch insert and put a step on it so the ramp would hook on to the hitch and would not be so steep.

Helps my best friend Jeep with me

Needed something to help my 11yr old German Shepherd load up. Ramp stays put, the grip of the tread is absolutely non-slip, and the angle of the climb is just about right for a big dog with less mobility. Money well spent, 5 stars, and Atticus the GSD approved!

      Pet Ramp

Product is great. Great Dane is very sure he's no sissy and will not use the ramp. The dachshund is pleased she won't have to share it! Nice surface grip, so works well even in the rain. lightweight, but sturdy. Slips a bit where leaned against Jeep. Solved that with a towel to stop the plastic on plastic slide.

Great for young and old dogs alike

Easy to use, fits perfect with AEV bumper. light weight and fits in back of 2dr JK. Purchased this for my large dog with arthritics, with coaching he does use it. It is still new to him. The young pup wants to join in and follows right up. I would advise getting this sooner than later for the suborn breeds that are prone to arthritics. So they are used to it when needed.

Best doggie ramp I’ve used so far!

I bought this because my old English sheepdog was really struggling to get in and out ofy Jeep with the height of the vehicle and I was worried about her joints. I’m very happy with this purchase. Ramp is made of good quality material - red runner is almost a sand paper texture so allows good grip on the way up. It’s basically just a sticker so after the first use or two her nails had scratched right through but if you don’t mind that it looks a little banged up it’s ok. It folds up to a decent size so I throw it in the foot space of the back seat when the dog’s in the trunk. All in all it does the trick!

      Not For Giant Dogs

I have a lifted Wrangler (2010, 2.5" lift and 35" tires) and a 175lb Great Dane. I wouldn't recommend this for giant dogs. It says it holds up to 200lbs but there is no way it was sturdy enough for my dog. It sits on the stock bumper well, but was very steep. If you have an agile, smaller dog it may work well.

The ramp does not attach, or have a way to keep it in place on tailgate. Pet can cause it slide to side, or turn over when pet tries to climb ramp

      Not completely satisfied

For starters, my dog refuses to use the ramp most concerning is when the dog has used it her nails before trimming and after trimming have dug into the red sand paper like material and it rips and tears very easily. That is quite disappointing for something that is quite expensive. I expected better quality.

I would say the only downfall is a material I had to put carpet on top my dog slips to easily on the material that's there
