The ProRock Dana 80 rear axle is built to carry serious load and see real abuse. The differential cover needs to match that expectation. This cover exists to protect the housing opening from impact and deformation, and to keep the seal intact when the axle is worked hard over obstacles.
A thick steel ring reinforces the mounting surface so the cover stays tight to the housing when dragged across rock. The formed steel plate absorbs impact without cracking, and the fully welded construction keeps the structure rigid under repeated hits. The integrated fill plug is positioned for easy access, making fluid service straightforward without removing the cover.
