        1 2004 Rubicon - Awful

        Don't trust Website for compatibility

I purchased these wheels for the jeep that I entered into their system for compatibility. The wheels are offset which requires spacers for the TJ I was not informed of this prior to my order and because wheels with tires mounted are not returnable I am out over $2000.00. I relied on the website to match me with wheels that ate compatible and was assured that they would. They do not! Has nothing to do with the size of my tires since prior to this order I ran 35/12.5/15 on my jeep. The issues is a direct result of the wheels themselves. Don't trust this website for matches.

        4 2003 Rubicon - MrLugs

        Budget priced wheels.

Being on a budget is always a challenge when buying Jeep accessories but I am very pleased with my choice and equally pleased that these wheels were also on sale.

Mammoth Bead Lock Wheels. I put the red Bullitt lug nuts with those wheels to match my red TJ. I have gotten alot of complements. They came quick with no damage....and looked great.

        Mammoth Boulder Beadlock Wheels

Great product. The wheel is light yet very sturdy and the finish was exactly what I was looking for, didn't want a "Flashy" wheel. Balanced out with minimal weights and the drive great. Thanks for the great product.

        2 2000 Wrangler - KurtY

        Damaged out of the box

I bought 5 wheels and two of the wheel were damaged along the rim. Like someone had dropped them. The boxes the wheels came in were in perfect condition. So, Mammoth Boulder has no quality assurance and packed damaged wheels to be shipped out. Therefore, i would not recommend them to anyone.

      5 Top Rated Questions

Hi there... For 2001TJ not lifted, what is largest size of wheels and tire what wouldn't affect rubbing and turn?. I 'm ready to place and order on those beautiful wheels and tires, but I need advise. Thanks

      • Hello, on a 2001 TJ with stock suspension we would recommend not going over a 30 inch tire. Just so you wouldn't have any issues with rubbing on height, on the width size, this wheel has enough backspacing so you will have clearance without having any issues rubbing when turning.

I have a '03 TJ Sport. What is the back spacing and offset? Will this wheel work on a 265 or 285/75/16 tire with no rubbing?

      • Hello, these wheels have a Backspacing of 4.5" (114mm) and an Offset of 0mm (0") you shouldn't have any problem with rubbing when turning, but for height wise, the tire you mentioned is close to a 33" tire, with that size tire we would recommend a 2.5" lift so you would have any issues with rubbing.

Will these rub using the 315/75-16? I have a 2006 TJ with 4 inch suspension lift and 1 inch of body.

      • These will work for you as the backspacing is 4.5" (114mm). With that being said, you should have little to no rub.

On a 1999 TJ, will this wheel and a 33" tire fit on the factory spare tire carrier?

      • It would overall depend on the width of the tire. For example, on a TJ to fit a 33x12.50 you would need atleast a spacer with the factory tire carrier to allow the wheel & tire combo to fit. We have a lot of great options like: https://www.extremeterrain.com/rough-country-spare-tire-carrier-spacer-8718-yj-tj-jk-jl.htmlwhich will help push out the wheel & tire combo so there is no fitment issues.

I have a 2004 Rubicon with stock 245/75/16’s. Will this rim give the appearance of the tires being pushed out toward the fender flares? I’d like to either keep the look as it is now or have the tires appear to be pushed toward the flares. I don’t want the tires to appear as though they are moved more inside the flares. How will my tires appear with these rims?

      • The backspacing and offset of these wheels are designed to sit further out from the center of the jeep.

I have a 2002 TJ with a 2" lift. Will these wheels on 265/75/16's have any rubbing issues? Also, I'm assuming that set up will sit under the stock fender flares without sticking out. Is that correct? Thank you. 1 answer
