CA Residents: Warning: California's Proposition 65
Installation Time: (approx) 1 Hour

These say "NEW," but I swear they've been out for a while...and I thought they were even available on this site at one point. Is this an update of their original design or something? Or does "NEW" just mean that they're new to extremeterrain.com?
The "New!" signage refers to a new product on our site. We just started carrying the LoD Offroad Signature Series Rock Sliders.

Great sliders, installation is no joke
Some of the best looking, and sturdiest rock sliders on the market. Once installed, you could very easily (figuratively) pick the Jeep up by these rock sliders. Installation time is about 6 hours. You must have a heavy duty corded drill and then find appropriate heavy duty drill bit and tap. I had to pick mine up at a local Fastenal. 12 or 14 holes drilled and tapped in the frame for proper install. Yes, installation is kind of a pain but these things are well worth it. True armor when out on the rocks.

Look good but hard to install
Installs great once you purchase the drill and tap set, additional hardware (lock washers) that LoD doesn't provide, and the extra 6 hours or so to drill and tap the frame. Once on looks great, but I wish both Extreme Terrain AND LoD would be more honest about this up front. I recently wrote LoD about improving their selling experience by explaining in more detail the install (because when you receive your rockers you then have to go to the LoD website to download instructions), necessary time and tools, and their need to provide the lock washers...and they basically cited a canned response that didn't even apologize for my experience nor do they have any plans to being more customer friendly by improving their process. They make a good looking product for sure, but know what your getting into. So if you are willing to put in the work, this is a great set of rockers, just don't think it is simple. You will need a drill and tap set (7/16-20NF, 25/64" bit, cutting oil, and (14) 1/2" lock washers). Also at least 3-4 hours to drill and tap all these holes. I was at closer to 6 hours by the time I drove around to all my local stores to find these specific tools. Good luck!
