        3 Top Rated Questions

Will these screws also replace the ones under the Freedom Panels on a JK 4 door?

        • These are to be used to replace the hardware on the hard top, they are not designed to be used with the freedom panels.

An earlier question was not answered... The bolts under the freedom panels on the 4-doors are for the hard top. You bolt the hard top on then put the freedom panels over the front bolts of the hard top. Will these fit under the freedom panels?

        • The Lange Kwick Screws are designed to replace the OEM hardtop to body bolts, and would not work for the freedom panels.

The entire screw is made of plastic or just the wing nut head?

        • Just the top of the Lange Kwick Screws will be plastic.

            Makes it easier

These really do help, however you will still need to use a tool to remove the two bolts up on top by the removable freedom tops.

            Not really worth it.

I thought these would make it easier but I find at times there are a few that are tough to take off ..the top is a little small.

            Easier then the sockets

These are easier then the sockets but do not tighten too much. I hand tightened them too tight and was not able to get them loose without a pair of pliers. Plus, they are smaller to grip then I thought they would be. Otherwise, they held my top on tight without issue.

Life owning a jeep-removing hard top.

Much easier to remove/replace hard top using these wing screws compared to using a wrench.

            Great in concept, poor materials.

This product works well and would be great if they didn't corrode so badly. In less than a year without removing the top, these bolts rusted solid to the body nuts in the JK. Applying enough torque to remove them wasn't possible without destroying them. Cutting the heads off was the only solution to remove the top. Then it took a vice, a ton of force, and plenty of penetrating oil to remove the rest of the bolts from the JK specific body nuts. If you own or buy them, be forewarned to remove and treat them for corrosion often because the cheap bolt material corrodes terribly.

            Time saver removing the top

These save time not having to wrestle a ratchet for six of the eight bolts to remove the hard top - can't wait for the snow to melt to put them to good use.

Now getting ready to remove the hardtop takes no tools at all. The direct fit Kwick Screws are easy to install and remove by hand. You wont have to worry about stripping a screw head either. Additionally installation of cargo covers or other aftermarket items are a snap.

            Kwick Screws

These screws work as advertised. It is twice as fast to get these out by hand than to have to get the jeep tools to removed the OE bolts. Would definitely buy a these again on another jeep. These went on a 2017 JKUR Hardtop.
