As there is no separation for the two panels, how do you put both panels in the bag without them scratching? In other words, is there a certain direction you put them in the bag? Thanks.

    • With the Rugged Ridge Freedom Panel Storage Bag they suggest putting the panels in the bag with the "bottom" of the panels together. The top of the panels (typically the black side) would face away from each other.

      A must have

Nice “Rugged” heavy duty material. I keep mine in the vehicle for the off chance of taking off the panels. A must have!

      Roof bag... it’s a bag

Picked up a bag to protect freedom tops when off the car. It’s a bag... with a zipper... the zipper works and the top pieces fit inside. Yup, does the job. Nothing fancy.

      Arrived Timely

This was a gift, so I haven't heard yet how the bag works, but it arrived timely and I have given it to the recipient. Will have to wait and see how he likes it.

      Good fit

Tops fit snugly in the bag so they don't move. Divider in the middle to keep from scratching. Straps around rear headrests so they are with you and don't move. Good buy.

      zipper broke

i got a new jeep this summer with hard and soft top. I put the soft top on put the freedom panels in my new bag to protect. Fall is here so i put the hard top back on and the zipper was busted in half along the track. Bag is nice, zipper will brake sitting in your garage.... not real happy.

      Freedom panel

Perfect place to store 2 pieces of you tops. Mounts around head rests and has a clip to snap on the floor tie holds it perfectly behind the back of the back seats. If you need to put on your tops they are with you not taking up space.

Good value and serves its purpose

I ordered this storage bag for my wife's jeep. She is able to remove and store the panels, but it is a little cumbersome for her to load and store as designed in the back of the Jeep once both panels are loaded in the bag. I am able to store and secure to the back of the seats without much challenge. I am giving it only 4 stars, because the material may be a little too light-weight to last more than 5 /- years without splitting a seem or zipper with the amount of weight that is stored and transported.

      Cost Effective and Durable

I ordered this bag due to the cost as well as the manufacturer's reputation. Based on my research, this was the best storage option for the freedom tops under $100. Since having it we have used it multiple times and I like that it is also flexible. This allows us to fold it up and store it under the second row seats (JKU) when it is not in use. the inner middle lining that separates the two freedom tops is soft material like felt so it protects the tops from scratches or damage. It is not the thickest material but the entire bag has very durable construction. Highly Recommend!

Good protection for the freedom panels

This storage bag provides good protection for the freedom panels. I keep the bag in the back of the JKU for those times I want to open the top when I am out. The bag keeps the panels from getting scratched and protects then when they are stored as well. Overall, a good buy.

      decent product for the money

The bag fit the panels well but kind of tricky getting them in and out of the bag. sharp corner on the panel tore the bag the first time I put it in using very little pressure so be careful. Zippers are strong, fits tight, holds them well but the material is very thin.

My used jeep was missing the factory bag

It fits a bit tight, but it has to so the panels don't bang around. There is a divider to keep them from rubbing each other. Fits in the little well in the back when not in use. The strap secures it to the back seat headrests just like the factory.
