Hey, guys. Today, I'm here with the Rugged Ridge Freedom Panel Storage Bag, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK and JL Wranglers. So everybody loves enjoying that open-air driving experience that the Jeep offers. But for you hard top owners, usually, you turn to your T-tops first since taking the rest of the hardtop off can be a pain in the butt. However, something that might deter you away from doing that is taking them off and having no place to store your T-tops or taking them off and potentially damaging them since you don't have anything to protect them. This freedom panel storage bag will be the perfect solution to all of that, being a quick, a very convenient, and a safe place to store your T-tops to prevent them from any damage. And it will even come with this handy strap, so you can put this on your shoulder and take it to your garage, or really wherever you wanna store them. So this strap will also double as a tie-down to put this bag in the back of your Jeep and strap up against your rear seat headrest. So if you're out on the go, this is a perfect solution if you want to enjoy that open-air driving experience. All you have to do is pop the T-tops off, throw them in the bag, and throw them in the back of the Jeep for whenever you need to put them on next. So at the moment, this is gonna be roughly $70 on the site right now, and there are a ton of other different storage solutions. However, this is going to be a very average price. So other options will be by different brands and will be very similar in design as this, or they will be for just the straps to secure them into the back of the Jeep without the protective cover. Personally, I think this is a very simple solution at a great price, and it really gets the job done. And Rugged Ridge always has a five-year limited warranty to keep a peace of mind. Install is gonna be a very, very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and all it consists of is putting your freedom panels inside the bag. So speaking of that, let's jump into the install now. So like I said before, guys, this is a very easy install. All you have to do is take off your T-tops, and you just have to undo a couple of latches and take out your tie-downs. And then, you can get them ready to put them in your bag. So what you can do is completely unzip this. It will unzip from side to side. It will unzip around the corner here, so you will be able to maneuver this in and out very easily. It'll also have some felt material in the inside on each of the ends of the bag, as well as a felt layer in the middle to keep the two T-tops from touching and stopping them from hitting each other and creating any damage to those or chipping the paint on the sides. This is going to protect those. Actually, it's gonna make it easier to slide them in and out. And having them in back to back will just create a flat surface, so they're both touching each other, instead of having the latches touch each other, which can cause damage. So these are gonna be specifically cut to your T-top, making these fit very well. Making sure that felt center is in the middle. Still a lot of room for the second one. So I would recommend that you actually push all of your latches down, making sure that they're not in the way and can get snagged on the fabric. And then, you can just repeat the same process. So this bag is actually made of a durable vinyl material, so similar to a sailcloth or a soft top material. So right off the bat, you can tell that this is thicker. It's gonna protect your T-tops from any damage in your garage, or even in the back of your Jeep with extra stuff wiggling around. And it will also have heavy-duty stitches. So, of course, with heavy-duty material, you want some heavy-duty stitches to make sure that the integrity of the bag is holding up to what you're putting in it. But after that, you can zip this up. So along with all of the other heavy-duty material, this vinyl here, all of this stitching around, you also get a strap made of heavy-duty nylon. So you can easily use this as a handle, throw it over your shoulder, transport it to your garage, and really put it wherever you like. You can even hang it on the wall of your garage to create some storage space. Or you can strap this to the back of the headrest in your Jeep if you're out on the trail or out, in general, and just wanna take your T-tops off, and you have nowhere to put them besides in your Jeep. So now, we can go over to the Jeep, and I'll show you how to do that.So right off the bat, we have a soft top on this Jeep. This was the one in the shop. However, I still wanna show you guys how to strap in this new freedom panel storage bag. You're just going to lift this into the back of the Jeep, and they are actually going to fit in the tailgate perfectly. So obviously, for the two-door, it's gonna be right here. If you have a four-door, it will be a little bit farther back and a little bit different. However, buckling it down is still gonna be the same. You're just going to unbuckle that buckle on the nylon strap and wrap it around your headrest. So after that's buckled, we can go ahead and tighten that up, make sure that everything's secured. So after that's buckled and tightened down, you're really all set to go. So even if you do have a hard top, you can still enjoy that open-air driving experience by just popping off your T-tops, putting them in the bag, and throwing them in the back of your Jeep. So that's gonna wrap it up for my short review and install on the Rugged Ridge Freedom Panel Storage Bag, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK and JL Wranglers. Got this product because I chipped one of my freedom panels the second time I had them off. Product holds panel securely in bag and is very easy to use. Also secures panels to rear set which is great when passengers are along.
Does this storage bag fit 2 panels or do I have to buy a bag for each panel?
The Rugged Ridge Freedom Panel Storage Bag, Black Vinyl (07-17 Wrangler JK) is made for the Freedom Panel that you remove from your hard top that is over the front two seats. This bag is only made for one freedom panel. If you have a second Jeep you'll need to purchase two, one for each Jeep.
As there is no separation for the two panels, how do you put both panels in the bag without them scratching? In other words, is there a certain direction you put them in the bag? Thanks.
With the Rugged Ridge Freedom Panel Storage Bag they suggest putting the panels in the bag with the "bottom" of the panels together. The top of the panels (typically the black side) would face away from each other.
I have used Extreme Terrain for 5 items so far. Everything has went smoothly and all is advertised. I really like the available videos for many of the items, numerous photo's, great instructions and so forth. I would highly suggest giving them a try. Zero complaints.

When the time came for me to get a vehicle, I picked up an old Cherokee. I still have that old Jeep strictly for offroading, but after a few...
